    Abstract: A second energy storage has a second capacity deterioration factor which has a fluctuation with respect to a state of charge larger than a fluctuation of a first capacity deterioration factor. Circuitry is configured to control a converter to discharge one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage to charge another of the first energy storage and the second energy storage alternately when first temperature of the first energy storage and second temperature of the second energy storage are equal to or lower than a temperature threshold. The circuitry is configured to determine which of the first energy storage and the second energy storage is controlled to be discharged first based on the state of charge of the second energy storage, before the circuitry starts controlling the converter.

The oil unit is disposed axially between the motor and the tool holder. A fan is affixed to the rotary shaft on a side of the motor axially opposite of the oil unit and generates a cooling air flow.

An injection molding die is used to manufacture an insert molded article by placing an insert 12 with a thermoset resin adhesive in the molding die and injecting a molten plastic material P from a gate G into a cavity C. The gate G is arranged at a position separated by 0.2 mm or more in an out-of-plane direction from a surface A1 of the adhesive applied to the joining surface of the insert 12. During injection molding, the wall surface shear stress generated on the adhesive applied to the joining surface of the insert 12 relative to the plastic near the gate G becomes small. The adhesive is not swept away by the high-pressure molten plastic material P without having to bring the adhesive applied to the joining surface A of the insert 12 into the semi-cured state.

A protection unit stops the motor or reduces a rotational speed of the motor on condition that an abnormal impact detection unit detects the abnormal impact. A control unit controls activation of the protection unit differently when the rotational direction of the motor is set to a reverse rotational direction in comparison with when the rotational direction of the motor is set to a forward rotational direction.
