  • Publication number: 20150116800
Abstract: The phase of laser light is modulated by a phase modulating array, and a hologram image is projected on a rotating screen. Light emission of the laser light is driven by PWM modulation so that a light emission period and a non-light emission period following the light emission period are repeated. In a case where the luminance of the hologram image is changed, the duty ratio of the light emission period is changed. In a case where the luminance is significantly reduced, the light emission intensity of the laser light is reduced without changing the duty ratio. Since the duty ratio is not reduced, a light diffusion condition on the rotating screen can be randomized even in a case where the luminance is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20150116799
Abstract: A reddish collimated beam and a greenish collimated beam respectively emitted from one and another light emitters are separately radiated to different conversion regions of a phase modulation array. In the phase modulation array, phases of components of light are converted through a plurality of pixels, thereby obtaining a modulated beam that is an interfered beam. An image of the modulated beam is formed on a screen to generate a holographic image. The one light emitter and the other light emitter are each configured as a separate block, stacked one on top of another on a reference base, and separately positioned and secured.

  • Patent number: 8353608
Abstract: A holding hole of a holding body has an edge portion and an inner peripheral surface which is a concavely curved surface connected to the edge portion. In a light source unit which supports a light source, projections are formed at three locations, and each of front surfaces thereof has a convexly curved line having a curvature radius longer than that of the inner peripheral surface. • Patent number: 7876002
Abstract: An actuator in which, when a supporting shaft, where a mirror (control object) is provided, is tilted by receiving an electromagnetic force of a magnetic driving mechanism, small balls of a supporting mechanism move in an axial direction in a space provided between an outer base and an inner ring member. Therefore, the supporting shaft and the inner ring member holding the supporting shaft swing. At this time, since the inner ring member swings around a rotational fulcrum as center, the supporting shaft can swing around one rotational fulcrum as center at all times. A plurality of laid members serving as a rotation restricting member prevent rotation of the supporting shaft in a direction around the axis.

  • Patent number: 7868490
Abstract: When currents are applied to driving coils, electromagnetic forces are generated between the currents and magnetic fluxes passing through gaps, a shaft member is swung in one direction, and a tilt angle of a mirror (controlled object) changes relative to a support center point. Electromotive forces generated in detection coils when the magnetic fluxes pass through the detection coils are given as feedback signals to a control unit. The control unit generates currents on the basis of the feedback signals, and applies the currents to the driving coils. By detecting the velocity of the mirror during swinging with the detection coils, the structure of the actuator can be simplified. Further, the responsivity can be increased, and the tilt angle of the mirror can be detected with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20100061418
Abstract: An optical emitter assembly is described in which one or more optical devices each having an emitting aperture at a surface thereof can be mounted on a carrier such that the plane of the emitting apertures with respect to a well defined reference plane can be precisely controlled. • Patent number: 7583424
Abstract: A hologram information reproducing device is described which can reproduce information from a recording medium on which hologram information is recorded, and which can be downsized. In one aspect, when light from a light source is emitted, the light is converted into parallel reference light, by a lens of an optical system. A mirror changes the orientation of the reference light so that it is oriented obliquely downward towards a recording medium. More specifically, as viewed from the top, the mirror changes a path of the light from the light source unit by approximately 90 degrees. In addition, as viewed from the side, the mirror changes the path of the light from the light source unit downward by approximately 45 degrees. Since an interference pattern recorded on the recording medium is a Bragg grating, when the reference light illuminates a recording area of the recording medium, a reproduction light is obtained by Bragg diffraction.

  • Publication number: 20090168130
Abstract: A recording medium is stacked on a master recording body, to which reference beams are applied each at an incident angle. The interference between diffracted beams diffracted in the data storage sections of the master recording body and the reference beams in the recording medium occurs such that the data are transferred to the recording medium. The use of plural compact light sources for emitting the reference beams allows the recording device to be compact while reducing the power consumption.

  • Patent number: 7538921
Abstract: A compact and low-cost hologram reproducing apparatus with a simple mechanism is provided. A light source 1 and a lens 11 for generating parallel light are provided on an inner surface of a housing 5. By changing the angle of a biaxially driven galvanometer mirror 2 provided at an appropriate position opposing the light source 1 and the lens 11, reflected light is applied two-dimensionally, in the vertical and horizontal directions, on a recording element 3 mounted below and adjacent to the housing, and is entered as reference light in holograms. Further, light beams exiting from the holograms are received at the same optimal position on a light-receiving element 4 disposed in an upper part of the housing. The received light is subjected to data decoding so as to reproduce read-only holograms.

  • Publication number: 20090109511
Abstract: Light emitted from a light source and passes through a collimating lens forms a parallel beam, which is reflected by a reflecting surface of a movable mirror. The parallel beam is made incident on a recording medium at a certain incident angle. The reconstructed light beam generated by Bragg diffraction caused by a hologram recorded in the recording medium is output at a certain output angle. The output reconstructed light beam is received by a flat photosensor, and information recorded in the form of a hologram is read out. By changing the angle of the movable mirror in at least two directions, the incident angle can be changed, and a hologram recorded in an angle multiplexed manner can be reconstructed. By changing the incident angle in a direction perpendicular to the displacement direction, an incident angle of a reconstruction reference light beam made incident on a hologram region is controlled.
