  • Patent number: 11772427
Abstract: A motorcycle tire includes a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions, a pair of bead portions, a toroidal carcass extending between the pair of bead portions, and a belt layer and a band layer disposed outwardly in the tire radial direction of the carcass in the tread portion. The carcass includes a plurality of carcass cords. The band layer includes a jointless band ply having a band cord wound spirally at an angle equal to or less than 5 degrees with respect to a tire circumferential direction. The belt layer includes a plurality of belt cords arranged in a direction intersecting with the carcass cords. The belt cords intersect with the carcass cords at an intersection angle ?c in a tread crown region, and intersect with the carcass cords at an intersection angle ?s in tread shoulder regions, and the intersection angle ?c is greater than the intersection angle ?s.

  • Publication number: 20210354516
Abstract: A tread of a tire includes a plurality of blocks including a center block located on an equator plane and a side block located outward of the center block in an axial direction. Each of the plurality of blocks includes a land surface that forms a part of a tread surface. In the tread surface, a total area of the land surfaces is smaller than a total area of a portion other than the land surfaces. A complex elastic modulus at a maximum strain amplitude of 1% and a temperature of 70° C. of each block is not less than 10.0 MPa. A 300% modulus at a temperature of 75° C. of each block is not greater than 6.0 MPa.

  • Publication number: 20150015793
Abstract: Provided is a display device and a television receiver each has a frame at a circumferential part of a display panel, the frame having a smaller level difference and a gap at a coupling section of frame members. In a display device comprising a display panel 1 that displays an image and a rectangular frame-shaped cabinet 3 that covers the display panel 1, the cabinet 3 is formed by bringing end parts of members constituting sides of a rectangular frame into contact with each other so as to couple the members with each other. A contacting end part of each of the members is provided with a regulating part that engages with a corresponding regulating part and regulates a relative movement of each of the members.

  • Patent number: 6958026
Abstract: An improved tooth profile for a roller chain sprocket enables noise reduction from impact and polygonal action during the meshing process. The profile of the engaging flank consists of three portions which are the seating, impact and distal portions all three of which are arcs with well-defined radii and arc centers. The profile of the disengaging flank is determined in accordance to a modified form of the JIS standard in which the sprocket pitch is smaller than the roller chain pitch. The impact point is located at the tangent point, thus permitting a gradual change of the roller velocity, thereby lessening the impact level and the effects of polygonal action.

  • Patent number: 6607786
Abstract: In curtain coating for multiple layers consisting of lower most layer, uppermost layer and intermediate layer, using coating liquid having viscosity more than 300 mPas for one layer or more of multiple layers improves amazingly the curtain coating stability against disturbance such as passing spliced portion of running web. The one layer or more layers for which coating liquid having viscosity more than 300 mPas is to be used is selected from intermediate layer. The curtain coating stability is further improved by combining the high viscosity coating liquid for intermediate layer with other technologies such as electrifying web, heating web upstream of coating point and/or keeping web tension higher than some specified value.

  • Patent number: 5788831
Abstract: An inexpensive, safe method for sterilizing an apparatus for the preparation of a recording material, which obviates troubles affecting a coated surface of the recording material caused by bacteria and fungi, does not cause changes in photographic performance (sensitivity, fog, graininess and sharpness), can prevent the appearance of "resistant cells", and can comply with environmental problems, said method comprising sterilizing a surface of the apparatus being in contact with a coating composition for the recording material by use of a strongly acidic solution having a redox potential of 1,000 mV or more which is obtained by electrolysis of water.
