    Abstract: An operation data support system for industrial machinery includes a first memory, a second memory, a communication device, and a control device. The first memory stores, with a ring buffer, operation data regarding a backhoe. The second memory is different from the first memory and stores operation data. The communication device transmits, outward from the backhoe, the operation data stored in either the first memory or the second memory. The control device controls the first memory, the second memory, and the communication device. When acquiring a transmission command for operation data, the control device stops storage of operation data with the ring buffer in the first memory and additionally causes the communication device to transmit first operation data stored in the first memory.

    Abstract: A communication system of an industrial machine includes an in-vehicle network, an information communication network, and a communication device of an information collecting unit. The information communication network is an external network of the backhoe and is a network different from the in-vehicle network. The communication device connects the in-vehicle network to the information communication network. The communication device 30C transmits the in-vehicle data D when data communication is performed by the plurality of electronic devices 7 in the in-vehicle network N1 to the information communication network N. As a result, the in-vehicle data configured via the in-vehicle network in the backhoe can be transmitted without any change to the information communication network outside the backhoe.

    Abstract: A portable image scanner capable of selecting a manual document loading mode in which a cover member is united to a scanner body to feed a cut-sheet document through a document passage defined between the united scanner body and cover member for scanning the document, or a self-propelling mode in which the cover member is separated from the scanner body to move the independent scanner body on a thick document such as a book. The scanner body has a document sensor for detecting the cut-sheet document placed in the document passage in the manual document loading mode, and the thick document in the self-propelling mode to prevent the scanner body moving on the document from falling out of the edge of the thick document.
