  • Patent number: 9105997
Abstract: A connector which can absorb thermal expansion and contraction of a substrate, or positional deviation of the substrate, and which enables the male and female connectors thereof to be fitted to each other where the male and female connectors are inclined to each other. A male terminal of a male connector, and a female terminal of a female connector are slidable relative to each other when in contact with each other. The male terminal and the female terminal are rotatable relative to each other about a contact point when in contact with each other, and hence the male terminal and the female terminal can be attached and detached to and from each other at an arbitrary rotating position.

  • Patent number: 9011178
Abstract: A connector which permits the resistance against the deformation of a shield to be increased and a method of manufacturing the connector. The shield is made up of an inner shield member disposed on the inner surface side of the shield and anouter shield member disposed on the outer surface side and, therefore, the strength of the shield can be increased by the double structure of the shield members. As a result of this, the shield is not deformed easily even in the case where an excessive external force is applied to the shield in the vertical direction or in the horizontal direction, for example, in inserting and extracting a mating connector into and out of the shield.

  • Publication number: 20130130534
Abstract: A connector is configured such that parts of the connector bodies will be placed in openings of a substrate and that other parts of the connector bodies, i.e., parts placed on the substrate, will be equal in a height dimension to LEDs placed on the substrate. This makes it possible to reduce the overall thickness of the substrate including the connector bodies. Consequently, the substrate with the connectors mounted thereon can be installed without being restricted by substrate installation space even in a small device, which has a small substrate installation space in a thickness direction of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20100159749
Abstract: A connector prevents a terminal from short circuiting when the terminal is elastically deformed with movement of a movable housing. The length in the width direction at one end of each terminal is larger than the length in the width direction at the other end, so the distance between the terminals at the other end is larger than the distance between the terminals at one end, thereby preventing adjacent terminals from contacting each other when movable terminal portions are elastically deformed.

  • Publication number: 20060228942
Abstract: A connector for electric connection. The connector consists of a first housing and a second housing. The connector has an electrically conductive layer on the surface of the first housing for electric connection, the electrically conductive layer having first contact surfaces for contact with a wire core and second contact surfaces for contact with a contact attached to the corresponding second housing. The first contact surfaces are aligned in a row and the second contact surfaces are alternately disposed front and rear in the lower surface of the first housing with respect to the direction of insertion of the connector, providing a first connector.
