  • Patent number: 11441262
Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided, at low cost, a thread/yarn for making it possible to easily determine whether a product is a genuine product or a forgery/imitation product, thereby suppressing the manufacture and marketing of forgery/imitation products. This forgery-preventing thread/yarn is formed by making use of a film comprising abase sheet and letters or images printed on the base sheet, the film being slit to have a width of 0.15 mm˜0.75 mm. A thread, yarn or a flat thread representing a genuine product can be cheaply manufactured since it can be obtained by simply slitting a film to a width of 0.15 mm˜0.75 mm. Further, it is possible to easily determine whether a product is a genuine product or a forgery/imitation.

  • Patent number: 6643319
Abstract: A wireless network communication system and method in which the wireless channel can be determined by selecting a vacant pseudonoise (PN) or spreading code. When communication is started, in order to judge whether a PN code is being employed by another communication group, the degree of correlation between the received signal converted to an intermediate frequency or a base-band frequency by a transceiver and a reference pseudonoise code signal is detected using a correlation circuit within a correlation detector. There is a channel controller which controls the PN code used by the communication terminal which receives an output of the correlation detector which correlates a received channel signal with a reference PN code generated by the PN code generator. If the correlation output signal is not smaller than a threshold value, it is determined that the PN code is to be employed.

  • Patent number: 6392167
Abstract: A touch position sensing system including a transducer configured to transmit and modulate by pseudo random coding acoustic waves and to decode reflected waves generated by the acoustic waves by autocorrelating the pseudo random coding; a substrate configured to propagate the acoustic waves, including a touch surface having a first axis along a side of the perimeter of the substrate and a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis and located along a second side of the perimeter; and, a first reflective array configured to reflect the acoustic waves transmitted by the transducer such that reflected waves are generated traveling parallel to the second axis, having a length substantially as long as the side of the perimeter corresponding to the first axis including partially reflective grating along the length and disposed lengthwise along the first axis of said substrate.

  • Patent number: 5745483
Abstract: A wireless computer network communication system for use in an environment in which plural groups can perform network communication at the same time. A channel controller receives a requirement of starting network communication from a computer, controls a wireless channel sensor, and detects a received signal. The wireless channel detector detects which wireless channel is employed by one or more other networks and the channel controller determines the wireless channel to be employed by its own group and also controls the transceiver. The computer starts the network communication through a network controller. The network controller controls the transceiver for transmitting and receiving data by use of the wireless channel, and the same further controls the transmitting/receiving of the requirements and the data from the computer.

  • Patent number: 5621414
Abstract: It is enabled to perform the location confirmation as precisely as possible at a small number of receiving stations. In the respective stations, after performing the operation of filtering and amplifying at the front end portion, the signal passes through the discriminating portion corresponding to the transmission signal from the transmitter. Thereafter, the electric power or amplitude of the signal emitted from each transmitter is measured. The measured value is sent to the central station through the backbone communication network. The more the transmission distance of the electric wave is, the more the electric wave attenuates.Consequently, it is possible to know the zone in which the worker carrying the transmitter is staying nearby by respectively comparing with each other the electric powers of the respective signals; a, b, and c transmitted from the transmitters a-c measured by the respective receivers.

  • Patent number: 5216429
Abstract: A system for measuring a position of an object moving in a limited area includes a transmitter provided on the moving object for periodically transmitting pseudo-noise signals at time intervals in accordance with an intrinsic period assigned to the object, and a plurality of stations located at predetermined coordinates, each of the stations including a receiving part for receiving the signals so that pulse signals whose period is matched with the intrinsic period are output, and a detecting part for detecting correlative pulses from the pulse signals. The system further includes a delay detecting part for detecting a time difference between reception of a first correlative signal by one of the stations and reception of each of the subsequent correlative pulses by the other stations, and a control part for calculating coordinates of the position of the moving object based on the time differences and based on the given coordinates of the stations, so that the calculated coordinates of the position are output.

  • Patent number: 5210772
Abstract: An approximate figures measuring system includes a signal transmission device and a signal receiving device. The signal transmission device is arranged in each of any objects to be measured and emits a signal from which a peak can be generated at a receiving device in a predetermined period. The signal receiving device receives the signal transmitted from the signal transmission device and includes a peak detection circuit and a calculation circuit for obtaining an output corresponding to the number of the peaks of the signals from the objects.

  • Patent number: 4902517
Abstract: Milk-derived alcoholic beverages of fine flavor can be obtained by carrying out alcoholic fermentation under a sufficiently high osmotic pressure. In addition, products having fruit-juice flavor can be obtained by addition of fruit juice to the alcoholic fermented products prepared above. Furthermore, products of further improved flavor can be obtained by addition of the initial distillate fractions of the alcoholic fermented products prepared above to the alcoholic fermented products not provided to said distillation.
