    Abstract: A terminal block includes a housing that has an opening through which a wire is to be inserted, a terminal configured to be connected to the wire that is inserted through the opening, and a plate spring member configured to fix the wire by pressing the wire against the terminal. The plate spring member has a pressing portion configured to press the wire against the terminal, and a plastic deformation preventing portion configured to prevent the pressing portion from bending in a direction away from the terminal by more than a predetermined amount.

(ii) it crosses with its axial line at an angle of 55 to 125 degrees. This invention provides clothes which can manifest the basic functions of the fabric such as water repellence, water pressure resistance, and good look & taste, can respond to the diversification of needs without impairing the basic functions of clothes and can reduce the rubbing noise and friction noise of clothes.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a multi-element magnetic head core is provided in which a plurality of first grooves are formed in a surface of a magnetic block to form a plurality of magnetic circuits, a plurality of second grooves are formed in this surface in directions perpendicular to the first grooves to separate the magnetic circuits from each other, the first and second grooves are filled with a non-magnetic material, the magnetic block is then cut along lines parallel to the second grooves to obtain a plurality of core blocks, and a third groove is formed in each core block from a side wall thereof to isolate the magnetic circuits completely from each other. According to this method, the number of fabrication steps required for forming a multi-element magnetic head core can be reduced, and moreover a multiplicity of magnetic head cores can be formed at the same time.

    Abstract: A transmit phase control system of synchronization burst is disclosed for use in a SDMA/TDMA satellite communication system in which a phase error between a synchronization burst transmitted from an earth station and a synchronization window, assigned as a time slot on a satellite for returning the synchronization burst, is measured and the transmit phase of the synchronization burst is controlled based on the measured value. Phase error measurement is achieved a plurality of times in connection with the received synchronization burst of each station, and a decided phase error is derived based on the measured value obtained by the plurality of measurements. The transmit phase of the synchronization burst is then controlled in accordance with the decided phase error.

    Abstract: An acquisition system for the SDMA/TDMA satellite communication system is disclosed in which a synchronization signal receiving time slot and a plurality of data signal receiving time slots, for communication between predetermined groups of earth stations and between the earth stations of each group, are sequentially provided at the satellite based on timing signal in the satellite. An acquisition signal having a plurality of signal burst portions is transmitted from the earth station, with its transmit time slot being shifted in a first sweep mode until one part of the acquisition signal is received by said transmitting earth station. At that time the transmit time slot is shifted in a second sweep mode, whereby a control is made to obtain synchronization of the earth station with the satellite so that the plurality of burst portions in the acquisition signal may be properly communicated to the predetermined groups.
