  • Publication number: 20080097325
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for controlling the injection rate of an anesthetic solution in a cartridge type motor-driven injection syringe for dental use, particularly beginning with the “Low” rate injection at the outset, and switching to the “Medium” or “High” injection rate at an arbitrarily selected time in the course of injection. The speed of revolution of the electric motor is changed among the low, medium and high speed, and a two-step operable type of switch is used as a starter switch 13. The first depression of the starter switch makes the electric motor 9 start at the low speed, thereby making the plunger rubber 5 initially move at the “Low Speed” in the cartridge 6 via the plunger rod 12, and the second depression of the switch makes the electric motor 9 run at the low, medium or high speed, and accordingly the plunger rod moves at the selected “Low Speed”, “Medium Speed” or “High Speed”.

  • Patent number: 6924474
Abstract: A technique is provided in which the inside and outside of an exposure device is prevented from being adversely affected by leakage of light by setting an inspection output most suitable for high-power LD. A light-leakage detection level is set correspondingly to output characteristics of each high-power LD, and respective thresholds thereof are previously stored. As a result, leakage of light can be determined in a lower-power state of 100 mW or less. Accordingly, even if leakage of light may occur, leakage of light can be determined before high-power light leaks, and the inside and outside of the device can be prevented from being adversely affected by light leakage.

  • Patent number: 6737666
Abstract: A cleaning end point detecting apparatus detects an end point of a cleaning process in which contamination attached to an inner wall of a reaction chamber is removed by introducing a cleaning gas into the chamber to produce a cluster cloud and detached particles. An irradiating unit irradiates a laser beam onto the cluster cloud and the detached particles within the reaction chamber to produce a scattered laser beam. A monitoring unit monitors the scattered laser beam as a two-dimensional image information. A judging unit judges the end point of the cleaning process on the basis of the two-dimensional image information. Preferably, the judging unit judges, as the end point of the cleaning process, a time instant when neither the detached particles nor the cluster cloud are detected on the basis of the two-dimensional image information.
