  • Patent number: 10412308
Abstract: A display controller is provided that controls a camera capturing an image of an area diagonally behind a vehicle and including an imaging element that receives light from an image-capturing target through an optical system, the display controller including a processor that calculates a shift amount of a reference position of the imaging element with respect to an optical axis of the optical system, performs a control to move the reference position of the imaging element in a direction away from the optical axis according to the shift amount, and generates a display image based on the image captured by the camera so as to cause the display image to be displayed on a display device.

  • Publication number: 20170057414
Abstract: A monitor device switches a display mode to be applied from a first display mode to a second display mode, when a speed of a vehicle reaches a first threshold or higher during the first display mode being applied, while switching the display mode to be applied from the second display mode to the first display mode, when the speed reaches a second threshold or lower during the second display mode being applied. In addition, the monitor device switches the display mode to be applied back to the first display mode, when an average speed of the vehicle in a period after switching from the first display mode to the second display mode is lower than the first threshold. The monitor device causes a display device to display an image of an area around the vehicle, the image being generated in accordance with the display mode to be applied.

  • Publication number: 20070077925
Abstract: To prevent information leakage due to the loss of a mobile terminal, when various delete conditions that are set in advance in the mobile terminal are satisfied, data is deleted by control performed by the mobile terminal itself. By allowing the mobile terminal to perform control of deleting data instead of allowing an outside system such as a network to perform the control of deleting the data, it is possible to reduce the risk that the information leaks out to a third person when the network cannot perform the control or during a period of time between when the mobile terminal is lost and when the loss of the mobile terminal is noticed. Moreover, by saving the data to be deleted in another computer device by uploading the data onto, for example, a server on the network so that the data can be recovered, leakage of the information from the mobile terminal can be prevented without hampering the convenience for the user.
