    Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing simulation display of the three-dimensional shapes and occlusal contact region of the upper and lower tooth rows at a high speed. A jaw movement sensor fits an examinee, and data on jaw movement of the examinee is acquired. An impression plate including a rigid flat plate having a top surface and a bottom surface each coated with an impression material inserted between the examinee's upper and lower tooth rows to which the jaw movement sensor is fitted, and the examinee performs a temporary occlusion. Impressions left on the impression material and a gauge mark provided on the rigid flat plate are measured by using a three-dimensional measuring instrument, whereby the three-dimensional shape data of the upper and lower tooth rows and gauge mark are acquired. Simulation display of movement of the aforementioned is performed at a time of temporary occlusion and jaw movement data.

On the other hand, the read controller includes a switch which sets whether the flash ROM is of a boot device. When the flash ROM is undesignated as the boot device and the read data is protected by the security information, the read controller stops the output of the read data.

After that, the forefront position of the ink layer is shifted from the forefront position of the film by a predetermined distance and the overwrite character image data is applied on the thermal head to produce a second superimpose character image on the ribbon and a second superimpose character image on the film.

A screen stay is integrally provided at its lower portion with a bridge-like section spaced upward from a front cover, and has left and right connection sections extending in the vehicle width direction from the bridge-like section and connected to the side of a body frame at positions on outer sides relative to a fork member in the vehicle width direction. This ensures that the flow of air guided in via a flow of air guide section is permitted to flow between an upper edge of the front cover and the bridge-like section toward the vehicle rear side. A meter for indicating operating conditions of the vehicle is supported on the screen stay.
