  • Publication number: 20080086538
Abstract: The present invention provides an address offset control circuit that includes a plurality of address offset addition circuits, and a plurality of selection circuits. The address offset addition circuits respectively add predetermined offset values to addresses respectively outputted from processors (e.g., CPUs) which respectively obtain access to a memory, and respectively output the results of addition thereof. In doing so, the selection circuits respectively select the results of addition by the address offset addition circuits and the addresses outputted from the CPUs and supply the same to the memory.

  • Patent number: 7278989
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for evaluating ablation conditions easily and for ablating a target object accurately. The method includes irradiating a reference object with a laser beam under laser irradiation conditions determined to form a second curved surface shape on the reference object having a first curved surface shape approximate to a curved surface shape of the target object, measuring a third curved shape which has actually been formed by the laser irradiation, and determining a discrepancy between the second and the third curved surface shapes. Then, data about ablation or data for controlling a laser irradiation apparatus are corrected based on results of the determination.

  • Patent number: 7275485
Abstract: A squib associated with a supplemental restraint system includes an igniting agent positioned above a first pin that is a connecting terminal providing a connection with a two-wire system bus wire, which is an external signal wire, and above a header that is provided with a second pin that is a connecting terminal. The squib also includes an IC substrate that controls communications and ignitions, and is positioned above the igniting agent, an ignition element between the igniting agent and the IC substrate, and joining portions provided in two locations bridging the igniting agent so as to connect the IC substrate with the first pin and the header. The IC substrate, the igniting agent, the pin, and the header are covered by a circular cylinder shaped cap whose top portion is closed off. Furthermore, these are formed integrally by being covered by a resin mold that is made to extend across the portions of the pins using a molding process.

  • Publication number: 20070192531
Abstract: The present invention provides a microcomputer having a CPU, a flash ROM which stores programs or the like therein and a read controller which controls reading of the flash ROM. In the microcomputer, the flash ROM is partitioned by sectors. When a read address is designated, the flash ROM outputs read data and security information for a sector corresponding to the read address. On the other hand, the read controller includes a switch which sets whether the flash ROM is of a boot device. When the flash ROM is undesignated as the boot device and the read data is protected by the security information, the read controller stops the output of the read data.

  • Patent number: 7217932
Abstract: A UV sensor (1) includes a container (5) in which the upper end opening of a metal side tube (2) is sealed with a front plate (3) composed of borosilicate glass as an incident light window and the lower end opening is sealed with a base plate (4). The front plate (3) serving as an incident light window constitutes part of the wall of container (5) by sealing the upper end opening of the metal side tube (2). A pin-type photodiode (6) is disposed inside the container (5). The pin-type photodiode (6) comprises a photoabsorption layer (9) formed from InxGa(1?x)N (0<x<1) between an n-type contact layer (8) and a p-type contact layer (10).
