When part of function keys for menu items of advanced functions are displayed so as to be arranged in a predetermined direction, the image forming apparatus accepts scroll operation and then moves the menu items of advanced functions by a distance decided based on the speed of the scroll operation.

The information processing terminal, in accordance with an instruction to incorporate an image file, sends to the image forming apparatus information that includes at least identification information by which to identify a storage destination for the image file, a file name for the data file corresponding to a selected icon and storage position information that indicates the storage position in a folder of a directory in the storage destination in which the data file is to be stored. The image forming apparatus registers the information, and causes a selection key for the registered information to be displayed. A new selection key is created for information to be displayed when new settings information is registered based on the information sent from the information processing terminal.
