  • Patent number: 11350282
Abstract: Provided is a method for detecting abnormal traffic. The method comprises collecting non-access stratum (NAS) traffic between a user equipment (UE) and a mobility management node, identifying a ciphering algorithm supported by the UE from a network access request message transmitted from the UE to the mobility management node, and identifying the UE as a first type of terminal at risk based on a determination that the UE only supports a null ciphering algorithm.

  • Patent number: 8565612
Abstract: A visible light communication method and terminal are provided for communicating with a visible light coordinator which discriminates between at least one communication area cell that includes at least one light source and a boundary area positioned between the communication area cell and another communication area cell adjacent to the communication cell area, and which provides time division visible light communication. Data of the visible light communication terminal is received from the visible light coordinator using a first time slot in a first communication area cell determined according to a position of the visible light communication terminal. The visible light coordinator is communicated with using a second time slot assigned from the visible light coordinator, when the visible light communication terminal is located in a boundary area of the first communication area cell. The second time slot has not been assigned to the visible light communication terminal.

  • Patent number: 8428469
Abstract: A method and an apparatus are provided for guaranteeing terminal mobility in a time division visible light communication system. In resource assignment in a position where the visible light communication terminal changes a cell, the terminal is assigned a resource to be used in a next cell in a cell boundary area from a communication coordinator, thereby guaranteeing the continuous mobility. The visible light communication system informs the terminal of cell boundary notice information for easily informing the terminal of the cell definition so that the terminal can recognize that the terminal is currently located in the cell boundary and is necessary to change the resource.

  • Patent number: 8279876
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for providing a concurrent data service to an Mobile Station (MS) through a plurality of heterogeneous networks. In a method for providing a data service to an MS through different wireless networks, the MS measures channel qualities of at least one accessible wireless network and reports the measured channel qualities to an Internet Protocol (IP) packet controller. The IP packet controller selects wireless networks for data transmission on the basis of the reported channel qualities, distributes data destined for the MS, and transmits the distributed data to the selected wireless networks. The selected wireless networks receive the data from the IP packet controller and transmits the received data to the MS. The MS combines and interprets the data received from the selected wireless networks. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a seamless data service to the MS in service environments with a mixture of different wireless communication systems.
