    Abstract: A vehicle body structure includes: a battery case that is disposed below a floor panel of a vehicle body and houses a battery; and a case-mounting frame that connects the battery case to a side sill provided on a side of the battery case in a vehicle width direction to support the battery case. The case-mounting frame includes a lower frame that straddles between the side sill and the battery case, and an upper frame that rises from the lower frame, supports the battery case, and is disposed side by side with the battery case in the vehicle width direction. The lower frame includes a fragile portion that is provided at a position located below the upper frame and is more fragile than another position other than the first position.

The bottom structure of the vehicle includes: a floor panel; a battery which is disposed below the floor panel in a vehicle up-down direction; a side sill which is disposed on an outer side of the floor panel in a vehicle width direction and extends along a vehicle front-rear direction; and a floor cross member which is connected to the side sill and extends toward an inner side in the vehicle width direction. The floor cross member includes a fragile portion, and the fragile portion is disposed further outside than the battery in the vehicle width direction and on a lower side of the floor cross member in the vehicle up-down direction.

    Abstract: A battery pack including a battery and a battery case is attached under a floor of a vehicle. The battery case includes a bottom plate and side frames. Each side frame includes a protection region, a vertical rib and a deformation region arranged in this order from inside to outside. The deformation region is provided with a first plate having a first buckling point and connected to a first portion of the vertical rib, a second plate having a second buckling point at a same position as the first buckling point in a vertical direction and connected to a second portion of the vertical rib, and a third plate connected to the first buckling point and a third portion of the vertical rib and located between the first and second portions. A length between the first and third portions is shorter than a length between the second and third portions.

The battery case includes a base plate on which the battery is placed, a frame member joined to an outer edge of the base plate, and a cover covering the battery and attached to the frame member via a sealing member. The frame member includes a protection region located on an inner side with respect to the sealing member, and a deformation region located on an outer side with respect to the sealing member. The base plate is joined to the frame member in the protection region, and a tip end of the base plate extends to at least the deformation region when viewed in a cross section.
