  • Publication number: 20250018157
Abstract: A catheter shape retainer includes a retainer main body inserted and disposed in an inner lumen of a catheter to retain a cylindrical shape of the catheter, and a movement restrictor disposed closer to a distal portion of the retainer main body than a proximal portion of the retainer main body to restrict the catheter from moving toward the proximal portion of the retainer main body. When a portion of the retainer main body including the distal portion of the retainer main body is inserted into a living body, a portion of the retainer main body located outside the living body has a length longer than a total length of a puncture device.

  • Publication number: 20250018146
Abstract: An infusion solution oxygenation device and an infusion solution oxygenation system capable of supplying oxygen to an infusion solution safely, simply, and quickly. An infusion solution oxygenation device includes a catheter connection portion to which a catheter that supplies an oxygen-containing gas to an infusion solution in an infusion solution container is connected, a gas supply unit that supplies the oxygen-containing gas to the catheter connection portion, and a container pressure sensing unit that senses an internal pressure of the infusion solution container, the gas supply unit controlling the supply of the oxygen-containing gas on the basis of the internal pressure of the infusion solution container sensed by the container pressure sensing unit.

  • Publication number: 20250010047
Abstract: A brain disease treatment device includes a first tube and a second tube which has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the first tube, can be arranged in an inner cavity of the first tube, and can move in the inner cavity of the first tube. The first tube is inserted into a subarachnoid space of a patient and discharges cerebrospinal fluid present in the subarachnoid space out of a body of the patient through a space between the inner cavity of the first tube and the outer side of the second tube. The second tube is inserted into the subarachnoid space and injects fluid through an inner cavity of the second tube into the cerebrospinal fluid present in the subarachnoid space. An end portion of the second tube is exposable from an end portion of the first tube in a longitudinal direction of the first tube.

  • Publication number: 20230347048
Abstract: A treatment device of a cerebrovascular disorder capable of reliably controlling an oxygen concentration of a brain tissue so as not to be excessively high while efficiently supplying oxygen to the brain is provided. The treatment device of a cerebrovascular disorder includes: a main body including an injection unit that is to be inserted into a living body and injects a fluid; oxygen concentration measurement units disposed at two or more locations in the living body; and a flow rate adjustment unit that adjusts a flow rate of the fluid to be injected by the injection unit, in which the flow rate adjustment unit adjusts the flow rate of the fluid to be injected by the injection unit according to oxygen concentrations at two or more locations in the living body measured by the oxygen concentration measurement units.

  • Patent number: 11660429
Abstract: A drug coating layer that prevents breakage of elongated drug crystals on a balloon surface while maintaining the drug crystals in an appropriate shape to act on the living body includes plural elongated bodies which are crystals of a water-insoluble drug each extending from the surface of the balloon at various lengths and angles, and a water-soluble additive layer provided in a space between an outer surface of an aggregate of the elongated bodies and the balloon surface to fill a space between the elongated bodies. The outer surface of the additive layer being located outside the aggregate, being uneven connecting a plurality of tip ends and side surfaces of the elongated bodies to each other. The tip ends of the elongated bodies slightly protrude from the additive layer, and the side surfaces and/or tip surfaces of the elongated body are exposed on the surface of the additive layer.

  • Publication number: 20230018967
Abstract: A catheter includes a tubular body to be inserted into a living body. The tubular body has a lumen that is held in fluid communication with an injection port defined in a distal end of the tubular body and a suction port near a proximal end of the tubular body, and the suction port is closed when the injection port is open, and the injection port is closed when the suction port is open.
