  • Publication number: 20160252681
Abstract: In an L-angle type optical connector for bending an optical fiber in a right angle direction in wiring, an L-angle member which accommodates a bent portion, which is bent in a right angle direction, of the optical fiber has a cut-out spanning the entire length of the L-angle member along the inside of the bent portion, and a protrusion is formed on inner side surfaces, which sandwich the cut-out, of the L-angle member in a protruded manner. The member which accommodates the bent portion, which is bent in a right angle direction, of the optical fiber is constituted of one component.

  • Patent number: 9182555
Abstract: A backplane optical connector includes a first connector secured to a backplane and a second connector mounted on a daughter board. The first connector includes a first optical input-output part, guide holes, and a shutter. The shutter is a plate that covers the first optical input-output part when the daughter board is not inserted. The second connector includes guide pins, a pressing part, and a second optical input-output part. The guide pins first make contact with the first connector and are inserted into the guide holes. The pressing part pivots the shutter after degrees of freedom of the second connector are restricted by the guide pins and the guide holes. There is a space for accommodating the pivoted shutter between the pressing part and the second optical input-output part. The pressing part does not make contact with the first connector until the pressing part makes contact with the shutter.

  • Patent number: 9176287
Abstract: A connector of the present invention comprises a sleeve, a latch, a stopper, a slider, a pressing projection, and a slider impelling section. The latch has locking projections that provide on both sides at the back end thereof in the transverse direction and a notch formed from the back end toward the front end of the latch. The slider is disposed behind the sleeve in the insertion direction so as to be able to move backward in the insertion direction with respect to the stopper. The pressing projection is disposed at the position of the notch in the latch and is securely coupled with the slider by means of a coupling section penetrating the notch. The slider impelling section presses the slider toward the stopper in the insertion direction.
