  • Publication number: 20160033559
Abstract: The present invention relates to an overcurrent detecting device and an overcurrent detecting method each of which detects an overcurrent upstream of an inverter circuit in a drive control device for an electric motor. The overcurrent is detected without providing a shunt resistor in the upstream of the inverter circuit, and miniaturization of a circuit substrate is achieved. The overcurrent detecting device calculates a current value of a power supply line from each phase current supplied to the electric motor and a power supply voltage of the inverter circuit, and detects an overcurrent, based on a current value determined from a drop voltage value by an electronic part connected to the power supply line and the current value of the power supply line.

  • Patent number: 8816815
Abstract: A lock device for a power supplying plug arranged in a vehicle that performs wireless communication with an electronic key. The lock device includes a charge ECU that restricts unauthorized removal of the power supplying plug from an inlet of the vehicle. The vehicle includes antennas that transmit a wireless signal. A first one of the antennas relates to permission for removal of the power supplying plug. A second one of the antennas relates to unlocking or permission for unlocking of a door. A charge ECU stops transmitting the wireless signal from the first antenna when the vehicle is parked and the second antenna transmits the wireless signal. The charge ECU stops the transmission of the wireless signal related to the unlocking of the door when the wireless signal related to removal of the power supplying plug is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20140202145
Abstract: A control device and a control method of an electric booster include an assist function by an electrical actuator. An input piston of the electric booster moves along an axial direction within the booster piston in response to an operation of a brake pedal. During a brake operation, the control device controls an electric motor to integrally move the input piston and the booster piston while retaining a length of a gap between the input piston and the booster piston. In addition, when starting an internal-combustion engine, the control device performs a control of shortening the length of the gap to prepare for a decrease in power supply voltage of the electric motor. Therefore, a force in a return direction applied to the input piston from the booster piston in association with a power supply drop is suppressed, and causing a driver to feel a sense of discomfort is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8624438
Abstract: A control device is provided that includes a power supply unit. First and second MOSFETs are serially connected to a sub power supply line in the power supply unit by connecting their respective drains to one another. Third and fourth MOSFETs are serially connected to a sub power supply in a control unit by connecting their respective drains to one another. By controlling these MOSFETs, power of the sub power supply is supplied to a load. The drain voltage of each MOSFET, and the voltage between the second MOSFET and the third MOSFET are monitored to determine a short-circuit fault and an open-circuit fault of the MOSFET, and a ground fault in the sub power supply line between the power supply unit and the control unit.

  • Patent number: 7610521
Abstract: A communication control system has a plurality of control units that are connected via a communication bus to provide bidirectional communication. A control unit detects a failure when it occurs. Upon failure detection, the control unit generates a failure detection signal which operates a communication signal cutoff means to cut off the communication signal transmission from the control unit. In accordance with the communication signal reception state in a control unit other than the control unit in which the failure is detected, the former control unit identifies a failure occurrence in the latter faulty control unit.

  • Patent number: 7282810
Abstract: An electric power supply system for a vehicle has an electric power line wired in a loop configuration. From the electric power line power is supplied to a load, and to another system which supplies control system power supply. One shutdown circuit is provided in a module connected to the loop configured power supply line. When the electric power line and the load are short circuited, the shutdown can isolate and shut down only the failure point. Further, when the car is not in use, by stopping the power supply to the load, current consumption can be restrained. In response to detection of a ground short and a failure of a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line, a simple construction can be provided and a low current consumption can be realized.

  • Patent number: 7096109
Abstract: After cruise control is restored by an accelerating operation, the driver set speed is changed according to the displacement of the accelerator pedal. It becomes possible to reduce the driver set speed due to release of the accelerator pedal, that is, the vehicle can be decelerated by the engine. Even if the cruise control is restored, the cruise control is not conducted and the vehicle can be decelerated by the engine if the driver wants to decelerate the vehicle by the release of the accelerator pedal.
