    Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes a stator including at least two element coils of the same phase each having a plurality of turns and connected to each other through a coil-to-coil connection wire, the element coils being arranged in adjacent slots, respectively; and a rotor rotatably provided to the stator through a gap. The element coils of the same phase are fitted in the adjacent slots so that wound around portions of the element coils partially overlap each other. The coil-to-coil connection wire connects at a coil end portion conductor wires extending from linear conductor wire portions of innermost wires of the element coils contained in the slots.

    Abstract: A sheet feeder has a tray on which a sheet to be fed is to be placed. A lift plate is at a feeding end of the tray and has a first end at an upstream side in a feeding direction connected rotatably to the tray. The lift plate is displaceable between a feeding posture where a second end at a downstream side in the feeding direction is lifted up and a retracted posture where the second end is lower than in the feeding posture due to its own weight. A biasing member gives a biasing force to an elevating member in a direction to lift the lift plate to the feeding posture. A lowering mechanism gives a pressing force against the force of the biasing member to lower the lift plate to the retracted posture.

    Abstract: A region surrounded by two gate wiring and two drain wiring includes pixels and when there is a defect of short-circuit in adjacent pixel electrodes, the short-circuited portion is removed by irradiating a laser via a mask having a transmission pattern, which corresponds to a pattern of the gate wiring, drain wiring and pixel electrodes in the short-circuited portion. The above short-circuited portion is identified and removed in comparison to a normal pattern, by use of information from an inspection apparatus, and the pattern defect formed on the substrate is automatically repaired. By applying the above method to a manufacturing process of display apparatus, in particular, to a resist pattern forming process, a display apparatus having a highly qualified display property may be achieved.
