    Abstract: A display device includes: a light projection device configured to project light including an image; an optical mechanism provided on a path of the light and configured to be capable of adjusting a distance from a predetermined position to a position at which the light is formed as a virtual image; and a control device configured to control the light projection device. The control device corrects a position of an image formed based on an external environment of a vehicle when a distance between a gazing point of an occupant of the vehicle and a vanishing point of a travel lane of the vehicle is less than a predetermined distance, and suppresses the correction of the position of the image when the distance between the gazing point and the vanishing point is equal to or greater than the predetermined distance.
