  • Patent number: 4954818
Abstract: A central processing unit, a main memory for storing graphic or character data, an external memory, an input device for inputting the graphic or character data, a shared memory for temporarily storing the graphic or character data read by the central processing unit, a display processing means for preparing a plurality of display data displayed on a display from the graphic or character data on the shared memory, and a display memory for storing the plurality of display data are connected to a bus. The display memory, the shared memory, and the external memory have first, second and third save areas for temporarily saving the overlapped display data when the plurality of display data are overlapped. The main memory is provided with a first control table for controlling display position, mutual priority for display, and a save area during overlap, regarding each of the plurality of display data stored in the display memory.

  • Patent number: 4858171
Abstract: The print interrupt control codes are contained in the document. The printing is stopped when the print interrupt control code is detected during printing the document, and a train of characters is newly prepared under this condition. The printing operation is interrupted when the print interrupt control code appears during the printing which is performed in accordance with the document data stored in the temporary storage means, and whereby the input processing means is placed in operation so that the new train of characters can be input and processed. The word processor has function to print the newly prepared train of characters when the printing is resumed, and to easily effect the insert printing.

  • Patent number: 3980405
Abstract: To prevent a picture of cathode-ray tube, which picture is projected through an optical lens system from being imaged with a deformed shape on a flat plane because of the curved phosphor screen of cathode-ray tube, an optical lens system is provided having imaging characteristics such that the central portion of an image formed thereby is convex toward the optical lens system.

  • Patent number: 3947190
Abstract: An electrophotographic apparatus in which photosensitive paper travels through a substantially U-shaped path, comprises a base and a frame assembly provided on the base in a freely openable and closeable manner. Those components which require higher accuracy in mutual positioning, such as a paper feeding device, an exposure device, a cathode ray tube, a cathode ray tube optical device, a format and a format optical apparatus, are mounted on the frame assembly, and those components which require less accuracy in mutual positioning, such as a developing device, a motor and the like, are mounted on the base. The respective images from the format and the cathode ray tube are focused on an exposure plane of the exposure device in superimposed relation.
