  • Patent number: 7966676
Abstract: The present invention provides a toilet bowl flushing water tank device which can largely open a discharge valve element instantaneously and, at the same time, can ensure a relatively large space in the vicinity of a discharge valve device thus enhancing a discharge capacity with a small power. A push button mounted on a tank lid body of a flushing water tank body is arranged at a position offset to one side from a position where a discharge opening is formed, a leverage device is constituted of a lever which is interlockingly connected to the discharge valve element and a pedestal which pivotally supports a middle portion of the lever. The pedestal pivotally supports a middle portion of the lever at a position closer to a push button side than the discharge valve device.

  • Patent number: 5362026
Abstract: A battery-operated flushing system (10) comprises a flushing valve (34) of the pilot-operated self-closing type having a pressure chamber (46) connected to a pilot conduit (52) controlled by a solenoid valve (50) of the non-latching type. A pressure control valve (48) is disposed between the pressure chamber (46) and the solenoid valve (50) for limiting the static water pressure applied to the solenoid valve (50) when the solenoid valve is closed. The provision for the pressure control valve (48) enables considerable reduction in the power consumption required to lift a solenoid valve plunger against the action of the static hydraulic pressure. Once the plunger is lifted, the non-latching type solenoid valve is energized with a reduced electric current sufficient to hold the valve in its open position. In total, energy consumption per cycle of operation is reduced. Use of the non-latching type solenoid valve permits to avoid malfunction inherently involved in the solenoid valves of the latching type.

  • Patent number: 5224509
Abstract: An automatic faucet according to the present invention is characterized in that a protective cover for a sensor or the like is removably mounted in a superposed state on the inner surface of a spout body integrally formed with a discharge water flow path within the wall to constitute a spout, and a sensor or the like fitting space for storing a manual sensor, a sensor cord and the like is formed between the spout body and the protective cover for the sensor or the like. That is, the spout constituting the principal portion of the automatic faucet is substantially formed by assembling the mutually independent spout body having formed therein the discharge water flow path and protective cover for the sensor or the like. Accordingly, the spout of the automatic faucet can be assembled easily.

  • Patent number: 4768705
Abstract: This invention relates to a cold/hot water discharging apparatus which is used for cold/hot water massage shower, and the like. In order to alternately switch and supply hot water of a predetermined temperature supplied from a hot water source to a discharge portion, a valve of a cold/hot water mixing tap is driven by a motor and is reciprocated in a pre-set period between a position where high temperature hot water is discharged and low temperature hot water is discharged. In each of the periods for discharging low/high temperature hot water, an optimum gain of this period is determined from the previous period and previous gain so as to shorten the discharge period of cold/hot water and to obtain a stable curve of the discharge hot water.
