  • Publication number: 20050231096
Abstract: An electron device such as a fluorescent display tube is provided, wherein a simple ring-less getter can be simply fixed and arranged with a large degree of freedom. The ring-less getter, G11 to G13, is securely fixed to the inner surface of the glass anode substrate 111, using laser beams. The laser beam is irradiated onto the ring-less getter, G11 to G13, from outside the anode substrate 111. Thus, the laser beam passes through the anode substrate 111, thus heating and melting the ring-less getter, G11 to G13. The corresponding inner surface of the anode substrate 111 is melted trough the heating. In cooling, the portion where the ring-less getter, G11 to G13, and the anode substrate 111 are in a molten state is solidified, so that the ring-less getter, G11 to G13, is bonded to the anode substrate 111. The ring-less getter, G11 to G13, is shaped arbitrarily through press-working a getter material.

  • Patent number: 6939114
Abstract: A dynamotor capable of operating as either a motor or a generator is used with both the armature portion and the field portion thereof capable of being rotated. In the case where a pulley operatively interlocked with the output shaft of the prime mover is mounted on the rotary shaft of the armature portion, the drive shaft of the compressor is mounted on the rotating field portion. Once the dynamotor is operated in motor mode, the rotational speed of the compressor is increased to the sum of the input rotational speed and the rotational speed of the dynamotor. The compressor is stopped by disconnecting a power feed circuit. When the input rotational speed is too high, the dynamotor is operated in generator mode. In this way, the rotational speed is reduced in accordance with the generated electric energy.

  • Patent number: 6918266
Abstract: In an ejector, a nozzle is provided within a housing to defining a passage portion around the nozzle, and a suction port is provided in the housing to draw a refrigerant by entrainment of a driving refrigerant jetted from the nozzle. Further, a wall portion is provided in the housing such that the refrigerant drawn from the suction port into the passage portion is prevented from flowing toward an inlet side of the nozzle from a position of the suction port in an axial direction of the nozzle. Therefore, all of the refrigerant flowing from the suction port flows toward an outlet side of the nozzle without flowing toward the inlet side of the nozzle from the position of the suction port in the axial direction. Thus, it can prevent a large pressure loss from being caused in the refrigerant sucked from the suction port, and ejector efficiency can be effectively increased.

  • Publication number: 20040260821
Abstract: System, method and program product performed by a proxy server which forwards an access request from a client to a data server and forwards response data from the data server to the client. A first address location and an encoding format of the response data are stored. A subsequent access request from the client which includes a second address location encoded by the encoding format is received. The second address location is compared to the first address location to determine if the second address location is related to the first address location. In response to a determination that the second address location is related to the first address location, the second address location is decoded based on the encoding format. The data server can be a web server, the response data can be a web page, and the second address location can include the first address. For example, the second address location can be an extension of the first address location.

  • Publication number: 20040150321
Abstract: A fluorescent display tube is disclosed. In the fluorescent display tube, linear members, such as, for example, wire grids and filament are sustained in a predetermined height, while both ends of each linear member are welded on a metal layer by ultrasonic. The fluorescent display tube includes a metal spacer for fixing the linear member and holding the linear members in an elevated position so that the dead space within the fluorescent display is reduced. The linear members are bonded on an aluminum thin films formed on the glass substrate 111 by way of the aluminum spacer. The aluminum spacer sustains the linear members in a predetermined height. Aluminum spacer acts as a member for fixing the linear member and as a height level holding member.

  • Patent number: 6717350
Abstract: An electron tube such as a fluorescent display tube is provided. Auxiliary linear support members (e.g. linear spacers and linear dampers), which subsidiarily support liner members (e.g. cathode filaments and wire grids), are bonded on a substrate, using ultrasonic welding (without using an adhesive agent (e.g. fritted glass or a conductive paste)). A metal layer (e.g. a thin or thick aluminum film) is formed over the glass substrate. The end of the coil of a cathode filament is securely bonded to the metal layer. A spacer of a metal wire (e.g. aluminum) is ultrasonic welded to the metal layer. The welding is performed with the wedge tool of an ultrasonic welder placed at the position where the spacer is in contact with the cathode filament. A U-shaped recess is left at the welded spot. This recess prevents the cathode filament from being displaced. If necessary, the metal layer is formed over the substrate and the damper of a metal wire (e.g.
