  • Patent number: 12146146
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a method for producing a trans-polyisoprenoid which can increase trans rubber production. The present invention is directed to a method for producing a trans-polyisoprenoid in vitro, which involves the use of a gene coding for a trans-prenyltransferase (tPT) family protein and further involves the use of rubber particles bound to a protein encoded by the gene, or a method for producing a trans-polyisoprenoid, which includes introducing into a plant a vector including a promotor having a promoter activity that drives laticifer-specific gene expression and a gene coding for a tPT family protein linked to the promotor to express a protein encoded by the gene specifically in laticifers.

  • Publication number: 20220275257
Abstract: An aqueous adhesive for rubber includes rubber latex and an ammonium-salt-based vulcanization acceleration aid. An amount of the ammonium-salt-based vulcanization acceleration aid contained in the aqueous adhesive is preferably not less than 0.01% by weight and not greater than 5.0% by weight in terms of solid content. An aqueous adhesive for a ball includes rubber latex as a main component. A content of an inorganic filler in the aqueous adhesive is not greater than 0.1% by weight in terms of solid content. A ball 2 includes a hollow core 4 obtained by crosslinking a rubber composition that contains a vulcanizing agent. The core 4 is formed of two hemispherical half cores. The two half cores are adhered to each other by using the aqueous adhesive for a ball.

  • Publication number: 20210346769
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a string 10 for use in a racket includes: (A) preparing an untreated string; and (B) irradiating the untreated string with radioactive rays. Preferably, the untreated string is irradiated with gamma rays. A preferable irradiation amount of the radioactive rays is greater than or equal to 250 kGy but less than or equal to 2000 kGy. Preferably, a material of the untreated string is polyester. Alternatively, the material of the untreated string may be nylon.

  • Publication number: 20200377901
Abstract: To provide methods for producing a natural rubber which enable the production of a natural rubber with an increased molecular weight, and transgenic plants which are able to produce a natural rubber with an increased molecular weight. Included is a method for producing a natural rubber, the method including the steps of: introducing a gene coding for a cis-prenyltransferase (CPT) family protein derived from a rubber-producing plant A into a rubber-producing plant B to prepare a transgenic plant C; and producing a natural rubber using the transgenic plant C, the rubber-producing plant A producing a natural rubber having a higher molecular weight than a natural rubber produced by the rubber-producing plant B not transfected with the gene.

  • Patent number: 7401047
Abstract: To prevent a single bidder from profiting by submitting multiple false-name bids, an auctioneer: sets a threshold price r; determines the ranking i of the minimum value equal to or larger than r in a buyers' evaluation value sequence sorted in decreasing order and the ranking j of the maximum value equal to or smaller than r in a sellers' evaluation value sequence sorted in increasing order; if i=j, allows first to i-th buyers and sellers to trade at the price r; if i>j, allows first to j-th buyers and sellers to trade at a trade price of the (j+1)-th buyer's evaluation value for the buyers and at the threshold price r for the sellers; and if i<j, allows the first to i-th buyers and sellers to trade at the threshold price for the buyers and at a trade price of the (i+1)-th seller's evaluation value.
