The first number is substantially equal to the second number. A light-blocking structure disposed over the first pixels and the second pixels. The light-blocking structure defines a plurality of first openings and second openings through which light can pass. The first openings are disposed over the first pixels. The second openings are disposed over the second pixels. The second openings are smaller than the first openings. A microcontroller is configured to turn on different ones of the second pixels at different points in time.

Abstract: A method and a system for logistical management of import and export goods are provided for use with a network communication system which allows users to instantly obtain import and export information such as import information, export delivery details, and so on through the network. Partnering imports and exporters can log in the system and connect to an import information inquiry module and an export information inquiry module respectively to inquire import information and export information respectively. By the above method and system, corporate internals, declaration companies, importers and exporters can be instantly informed of import and export related information, thereby reducing the effort of data reentry and cutting down costs on faxes and phone calls as compared to prior art.

Abstract: A method and a system for processing export information are provided by which a user at a computer device is linked to the export information processing system via a network connection to perform instant and convenient export information processing. A goods database for storing goods related information is established in the export information processing system to allow users to enter goods related information for soon-to-be-exported goods. A display of available goods from the goods database is generated on the computer device according to inquiry conditions inputted from the user to the export information processing system to allow the user to select export goods. Then, export files are created for the selected export goods to provide reference for inquiry of export information.

Abstract: An online real-time information inquiry method and system for importing commodities is provided, for allowing a user identification module to search access rights of users from corresponding to identification codes entered from the users via a network terminal device. Next, a data-searching module searches data of importing commodities according to the access rights of the users and consistent with inquiry conditions entered from the users via the network terminal device, and displays the searched data on the network terminal device. Then, an inquiry learning module records and stores data frequently inquired by the users in the database, so as to allow the data-searching module to perform other data inquiries from the users based on refined inquiry conditions or data scope according to the records established in the database by the inquiry learning module, to thereby enhance efficiency of the data inquiry.

Abstract: An information notification method and system is provided for automatically transmitting notification messages to a receiving organization at an information reception device. A fundamental database is established for storing basic information of the receiving organization, each record of the basic information corresponding to at least one item of contact information. The information notification system determines if a notification message is received; if yes, the system reads a name of the receiving organization from the notification message and finds corresponding contact information from the fundamental database. Then, according to the found contact information, the system sends the notification message to the information reception device to allow the receiving organization to obtain the notification message.

Abstract: A network-based just-in-time (JIT) material shortage and supply information exchange system and method is proposed, which is intended for use in the supply chain management for a supplier and a manufacturer to allow the supplier and the manufacturer to exchange information about the manufacturer's current condition of material shortage and the supplier's capability to supply material for the shortage in a real-time online manner over a network system, such as the Internet. The proposed system and method of the invention is characterized by the use of an Internet-linked server to provide online information about the manufacturer's current condition of material shortage and relevant data to the supplier as well as the information about the supplier's current inventory stock of material and relevant data, such as percentage of reserved amount of supply, to the manufacturer.

Abstract: A system and a method for processing online purchase are provided, wherein purchase processing stations of a buyer and a seller are respectively linked to the purchase processing system via a network. A user database is established in the purchase processing system for storing user data and identification codes corresponding to the user data, and an order database is provided for storing order data. The purchase processing system verifies access rights of a user according to an identification code input by the user, and obtains order data from the order database requested by the user, allowing the obtained order data to be displayed on a purchase processing station of the user. Then, the purchase processing system processes orders according to the user's instruction, wherein the processed orders are marked with specific labels and stored in the order database.

Abstract: A method and a system for managing online product delivery are provided. In operation, an order database for storing order data and a user database for storing data of delivery end users are established. So, a user at the purchase end only needs to input the new quantity of products to be delivered if the quantity of the order is to be modified. Once the buyer inputs a desirable quantity of products to be purchased into the system for managing product delivery, a quantity counting module would count the quantity of the current stock, maximum stocks, and product ordered by buyers, so as to display the maximum and minimum quantities of products available for delivery on a web page of the system for managing product delivery. Therefore, users at the delivery end are updated with the order details and the stocks of the buyers through a network system and a browser, to thereby make appropriate product delivery.

Abstract: An online accounting management system and an online accounting management method are provided. In operation, a manufacturer inputs data of products delivered from a material supplier in a day to an accounting management module where the product delivery data are processed to form report data and stored in a database. On the next day, the material supplier can retrieve the report data via a network to thereby make an invoice according to the report data. Real-time provision of the report data allows easy accounting management and needs only one invoice incorporated with all product delivery data per day, thereby reducing costs of human resources and materials.

Abstract: A system and a method for inquiring remaining quantity of orders are provided. First, an order database for storing order data and a user database for storing users' data are established. Then, the system periodically searches and calculates quantity data of unprocessed orders and orders with undelivered products from the order database. Moreover, an identity recognizing module determines and retrieves access rights of a user from the user database according to an identification code inputted by the user. Further, the user with the access rights inputs inquiry conditions for remaining order data, and an order inquiry module retrieves remaining order data from the order database as inquired by the user. Finally, the retrieved remaining order data are displayed on a web page and browsed by the user.

Abstract: A system and a method for online and real-time editing and forwarding manifests are proposed in which at least a product flow processing workstation, an order database and a database server are provided, for allowing an authorized user to edit and forward a manifest in an online and real-time manner via Internet. The product flow processing workstation is adapted to establish and store detailed data relevant to product orders in the order database. When the user is linked to the product flow processing workstation, the user can edit the manifest according to practical conditions of product manufacture and demand, and forward the edited manifest via Internet to a buyer who makes a product order in association with the manifest. This facilitates the ease of data inquiry and reduction in repetition of data input from users of the buyer and supplier.

Abstract: A system and method is proposed for exchanging SOI (Supply Own Inventory) related information between a manufacturer and a supplier, allowing both the manufacturer and the supplier to learn all SOI-related information, including the supplier's extra amount of material stocked at the manufacturer's site, the amount of material taken by the manufacturer to supply its own inventory, and the amount of the supplier's assured resupply to the manufacturer's inventory stock during a specific future period, etc., so as to allow both the supplier and the manufacturer to perform related management tasks more efficiently. The proposed system and method is characterized by the use of a server to serve up an online inventory management system including an SOI-status inquiry Web page and an SOI-status display Web page, which can be accessed via a network system, such as extranet or Internet, by both the manufacturer and the supplier.

Abstract: A network-based productivity forecast and responding system and method is proposed, which is intended for use by a supplier and a manufacturer to exchange demand-and supply transaction information in a real-time online manner over a network system. The proposed system and method is characterized by the use of a server to serve up a productivity-forecast inquiry Web page and a productivity-forecast responding Web page, whereby the manufacturer can utilize the productivity-forecast inquiry Web page to post the manufacturer's demanded amount of material per day during a future period, allowing the supplier to acquire these data by linking via the network system to the productivity-forecast inquiry Web page and respond by using the productivity-forecast responding Web page. This allows the supplier to prepare well in advance to prevent oversupply or undersupply, and also allows the manufacturer to carry out purchase management more efficiently.

Abstract: A method for managing decentralized production and centralized materials distribution aims at resolving the problems of manually distributing materials by the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) server in the manufacturing industry. By using a Configure to Order (CTO) concept to transmit data on the network, the invention combines bills of material (BOM) to process centralized management and distribution of materials to reduce time needed in material delivery and enhance efficiency of production for factories.

Abstract: A system and a method for processing an invoice of exported products are proposed, allowing a manufacturer that is ready to export products to immediately transmit invoice and packing data of the exported products through a network communication system to a forwarder company and a custom broker, so as to construct exportation associated documents. This therefore saves time consumed in invoice data printing and posting, and makes the manufacturer more efficiently interact with the forwarder company and the custom broker. In addition, the foregoing system and method for processing an invoice of exported products eliminate the use of manual printing or delivering the invoice and packing data of the exported products, so that the manufacturer can effectively save human resources. Therefore, the invention is advanced and practicable.

Abstract: An online shipment information server system and method is proposed, which allows a manufacturer to provide online shipment information, including EDI855-related information, delivery-related information, and EDI856-related information, to a freight forwarder in real time so as to allow the freight forwarder to prepare the required customs/exportation documents for the shipment of the manufacturer-consigned freight to a foreign country. The proposed online shipment information server system and method allows the freight forwarder to receive online shipment information in real-time via Internet, without having to be mailed or faxed by the manufacturer to the freight forwarder, thereby allowing the freight forwarder to execute the required custom/exportation application procedures more efficiently and reliably.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a method of online purchasing and inventory distribution of materials. Through the combination of an inventory management system and an accounting system, approved materials are temporarily stored in a supplier's temporary stored area in a storage of the purchaser. Only after the materials are indeed shipped to the production lines will the payment procedure begin. Using such a model of online purchasing to pay at the same time materials are used can transfer part of the material stocking cost over to the suppliers, thus lowering the stocking cost at the purchaser. Applying this method of completing material payment at the same time materials are supplied can not only simplify material shipping procedure but also ensure the timing for materials needed immediately on the production lines.

Abstract: A supplier data transfer system and method aims at resolving the problem of not able to not transfer data timely in a configure-to-order fashion by Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Through a platform provided by an information intermediary, data formats are transferred during data file transfer processes and data formats are formed in a configure-to-order fashion, thereby may reduce transfer delay time and enhance data format compatibility.

Abstract: This specification discloses a web trading method for reducing stocking costs. This is achieved mainly by establishing a real-time material supply trading procedure with a materials supplier through a web trading system. The invention includes the following steps. A forecast order containing a material forecast demand is sent from a purchaser to a materials supplier. The materials supplier temporarily stores materials according to the material forecast demand in the storage of the materials supplier. The purchaser can timely send out a real-time demand order containing material real-time demands to the materials supplier according to the production demands to ask the materials supplier to provide the material real-time demands accordingly. At the moment, the materials supplier retrieves the real-time material quantities required in the real-time demand order from its storage and sends them to the purchaser.

Abstract: A purchase order tracking system and method is proposed, which allows a customer who have issued an electronic purchase order, such as EDI 850, to a manufacturer to track the progress of the manipulation of the purchase order by the manufacturer. The proposed purchase order tracking system and method is characterized by the provision of an on-line purchase order manipulation progress report for each received EDI-850 electronic purchase order to record related data at the completion of each stage of the purchase order manipulation. The purchase order manipulation progress report is then downloaded into a Web-linked database so as to allow the customer to gain access to the purchase order manipulation progress report by linking via Internet to the Web server and view the contents of the purchase order manipulation progress report through a Web browser program.
