Abstract: A HDMI connector is disclosed to include an insulative casing holding first terminals and second terminals at two different elevations, an insulative locating board set in between the first terminals and second terminals, top and bottom cove boards respectively covered on the top and bottom sides of the locating boards to hold down lead wires of a cable in respective forked, sharp-edged endpieces of the first terminals and second terminals at the top and bottom sides of the insulative locating board to make a respective electric contact, a cap fastened to the cable to keep the lead wires from sight, a metal shield covered on the casing and the cover boards and the cap for EMI protection, and a plastic housing directly molded on the metal shield.

Abstract: A Serial ATA interface connector includes a connector body holding a set of terminals of two different lengths alternatively arranged in parallel, each terminal having a vertically extended conductor holder defining a Y-shaped retaining notch, a Serial ATA interface cable having conductors respectively fastened to the Y-shaped retaining notches of the conductors, a bottom cover shell and a top cover shell fastened together by a hook joint to hold down the connection between the conductors of the Serial ATA interface cable and the conductor holders of the terminals, connector body having top and bottom locating blocks respectively engaged into respective locating holes in the top and bottom cover shells, the holes of the top and bottom cover shells being kept from sight after connection between the top and bottom cover shells.

Abstract: A Serial ATA cable includes a connector body having a holder block at the rear side, terminals of two different lengths alternatively arranged in parallel in the connector body and the holder block, each terminal having an upright endpiece defining a Y-shaped engagement groove, a cable connected to the terminals, the cable having conductors respectively engaged in the Y-shaped engagement grooves of the endpieces of the terminals, a locating block fastened to the holder block and the connector body to hold down the cable, and a housing molded on the holder block and the locating block to fixedly secure the cable to the connector body.
