Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for eye gesture recognition. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining an electrical signal that represents a measurement, by a photodetector, of an optical signal reflected from an eye and determining a depth map of the eye based on phase differences between the electrical signal generated by the photodetector and a reference signal. Further, the method includes determining gaze information that represents a gaze of the eye based on the depth map and providing output data representing the gaze information.

Abstract: A vending machine with selectable internal heating and internal cooling functions includes a cabinet and a heat transmitting system. The cabinet includes a heat source and a goods storage space. The heat transmitting system includes a first air inlet tube, a second air inlet tube, an air outlet tube, and a gas valve. The first air inlet tube connects the heat source to the gas valve. The second air inlet tube connects the goods storage space to the gas valve. The air outlet tube connects the gas valve to the outside of the vending machine. The gas valve can connect the first gas inlet tube to the second gas inlet tube to heat the goods storage space using heat generated by the heat source, or can connect the first gas inlet tube to the gas outlet tube to dissipate heat generated by the heat source.

Abstract: A vending machine includes a camera, a display, and a computer. The computer is coupled to the camera and the display. The computer includes a processor, a storage module and a motion detector. The motion detector can detect a movement of an image captured by the camera. The processor can start to record the image into the storage module when the movement of the image is detected, and can also prompt a message on the display when the movement of the image is detected.

Abstract: A driving device in a vending machine includes a pushing member, a securing member, and a driving assembly. The motor of the driving assembly provides a rotating force which acts on the securing member, and the securing member supports and rotates the helical pushing member, to drive goods out of the vending machine. The style of attachment between the pushing member and the securing member is such that the starting angle of the helical pushing member can be adjusted by unclipping the end of the pushing member with fingertip force from the securing member and reclipping it at a different preferred orientation. The driving device is used for adjusting the appropriate rotation angle of the pushing member.

Abstract: A vending machine to dispense purchased goods includes a frame, a dispensing member, a controlling member, a blocking member and a driving member. The controlling member can slide a limiting shaft between a latched position and a releasing position. The driving member is a spring which is partly uncoiled and which constantly pulls the dispensing member, and thus a line of goods, towards the blocking member. When the limiting shaft is in the latched position, the limiting shaft prevents the blocking member rotating, so holding back the line of unpurchased goods. When the limiting shaft is retracted to the releasing position, the pressure of the line of goods rotates the blocking member through ninety degrees to allow one of the goods to pass out of the goods channel.
