    Abstract: An air-conditioning system includes an air-conditioning apparatus, a ventilation apparatus, a detector configured to detect an environment state in an air-conditioning target space and a position and an activity state of a person present in the air-conditioning target space, a storage device configured to store a plurality of control patterns, and a controller configured to calculate, for each of the control patterns, thermal environment distribution information and air age distribution information in the air-conditioning target space by using operation states and the environment state, calculate, for each of the thermal environment distribution information, a local comfort level index from the position and the activity state of the person, and determine, a control pattern to be set to the air-conditioning apparatus and the ventilation apparatus which satisfies a pre-determined standard.

The housing includes a first air outlet and a second air outlet. The controller sets in the air-conditioning target space, a first area associated with the first air outlet and a second area associated with the second area, detects whether a person or persons are present or no person is present in each of the first and second areas, and controls the control valve and the first and second fans such that air conditioning is performed in the first area and an air-blowing operation is performed in the second area, when detecting that the person or persons are present in the first area and no person is present in the second area.

The non-volatile storage device stores a symbol table in which only a function and a global variable that are accessed by the computing device executing a program described in the object file and that are allowed to be referred to during a process of updating the control program are defined. The computing device resolves the unresolved symbol by using the symbol table.
