Abstract: A system for providing a mobile communication device with information, the system including at least one server being communicable with the mobile communication device to communicate service choices and the information to the mobile communication device. Upon selection of at least one of the service choices, the mobile communication device augments the selection with data at least partially indicative of preference data and wherein the at least one server utilizes the augmented selection to identify information corresponding to the augmented selection. The server then communicates the identified information to the mobile communications device.

Abstract: A concept-based indexing and search system indexes collections of documents with ontology-based predicate structures through automated and/or human-assisted methods. The system extracts the concepts behind user queries to return only those documents that match those concepts. The concept based search and retrieval system comprehends the intent behind a query from a user, and returns results matching that intent. The system can perform off-line searches for unanswered user queries and notify the user when a match is found.

Abstract: A system, including software components, that efficiently and dynamically analyzes changes to data sources, including application programs, within an integration environment and simultaneously re-codes dynamic adapters between the data sources is disclosed. The system also monitors at least two of said data sources to detect similarities within the data structures of said data sources and generates new dynamic adapters to integrate said at least two of said data sources. The system also provides real time error validation of dynamic adapters as well as performance optimization of newly created dynamic adapters that have been generated under changing environmental conditions.

Abstract: The adaptive communication data retrieval system comprises a communication network, a communication device, a server, and a plurality of databases. The adaptive communication data retrieval system provides for sending and receiving personalized information from a communication device via a communication network to a server based retrieval system. The adaptive communication data retrieval system has an adaptive capability to learn and become more efficient at finding focused personalized information through learned usage patterns and/or historical data.
