    Abstract: A method for digital treatment planning may include defining a set of contact points on a tooth of a patient's dentition and a plurality of connections between pairs of the plurality of contact points. The plurality of connections may include Hookian stiffness parameters of a dental appliance between the plurality of contact points. The method may also include generating a relaxed model of a dental appliance using the plurality of contact points and the plurality of connections. The method may also include generating a deformed model of the dental appliance using the plurality of contact points and plurality of connections. The method may also include transforming the relaxed model to the deformed model to direct the patient dentition towards a target tooth arrangement.

    Abstract: A system, device (140) and method for the non-invasive ultrasound or any other imaging based measurement system of the intravascular blood pressure is presented, wherein the blood pressure measurements are performed by means of the image time series processing estimating the volumes of the oscillating traceable regions. The new generalized M-mode being the set of M-modes corresponding to all ultrasound channels is introduced. The invention is applicable to any medium transparent for imaging waves capable to be converted into the image series calibrated to the pressure changes of the liquid.

    Abstract: A multimode electromagnetic wave energy rejection filter arrangement for a slot waveguide includes at least one system of series coupled LC-circuits located, at least partly, within a cavity of the slot waveguide and arranged along a predetermined line intersecting the wave vectors of electromagnetic waves to be rejected, the LC-circuits including lumped elements and the coupling between the LC-circuits being substantially weak. The LC-circuits may be located, at least partly, within grooves formed in a wall of the slot waveguide. As applied to a heating apparatus employing high frequency electromagnetic wave energy or microwave energy for heating dielectric materials, the series coupled LC-circuits are arranged along a closed line which envelopes the access opening in a body of a multimode resonator heating chamber, in which the high frequency electromagnetic wave energy is employed for heating.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the angular velocity of a rotating substantially transparent object about an object rotation axis. The apparatus excites an electromagnetic field in a resonator such that an electromagnetic beam propagates along the propagation axis parallel to the object rotation axis. The apparatus then detects a field component of the electromagnetic beam. The detected field component of the electromagnetic beam indicates the angular velocity of the object.
