  • Patent number: 11468905
Abstract: Performance of an encoding process and a decoding process for a sound signal is enhanced. A representative value calculating part 110 calculates, for each frequency section by a plurality of samples fewer than the number of frequency samples of a sample sequence of a frequency domain signal corresponding to an input acoustic signal, from the sample sequence of the frequency domain signal, a representative value of the frequency section from sample values of samples included in the frequency section, for each of predetermined time sections. A signal companding part 120 obtains, for each of the predetermined time sections, a frequency domain sample sequence obtained by multiplying a weight according to a function value of the representative value by a companding function for which an inverse function can be defined and each of the samples corresponding to the representative value in the sample sequence of the frequency domain signal, as a sample sequence of a weighted frequency domain signal.

  • Publication number: 20220281404
Abstract: For example, even when an occupant is seated offset in a left-right direction, an airbag is reliably expanded and deployed. An airbag device contains: an airbag that protects at least a side portion of a shoulder region, upper arm region, and chest region of an occupant seated on a vehicle seat; and an inflator that supplies gas to the airbag. The airbag has a pair of side part protection chambers that are housed on at least both left and right sides of the vehicle seat. The side part protection chambers, when expanded and deployed, expand and deploy forward independently from both left and right sides of the vehicle seat. A pair of the inflators are provided to allow gas to be supplied to each side part protection chamber, and the ignition timing of the inflators can be controlled separately.

Abstract: An airbag apparatus with a cushion that expands and deploys from in front of a seat is provided. The cushion includes a front restraining part that restrains a head of a passenger from the front of a vehicle. The cushion further includes protrusion parts that are provided beside the front restraining part in the width direction of the vehicle and protrude and expand further towards the rear of the vehicle than the front restraining part. Inner tethers inside the cushion are connected to the front restraining part and to which tension is applied to pull the front restraining part towards the front of the vehicle. Outer tethers are connected to the protrusion parts and to which tension is applied to pull the protrusion parts towards the front of the vehicle. When tension is applied to the inner tethers, force towards the inner tethers is applied to the outer tethers.
