  • Publication number: 20220097002
Abstract: This exhaust purification device is provided with: an exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas generated in an internal combustion engine flows; a selective reduction catalyst which is provided in the exhaust pipe and which promotes reduction of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas; a reducing agent supply unit which is provided in a stage before the selective reduction catalyst in the exhaust pipe and which supplies a reducing agent for reducing nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas; and a blocking unit which is disposed between the reducing agent supply unit and the selective reduction catalyst in the exhaust pipe and which, when a reducing agent solid flows through the exhaust pipe together with the exhaust gas, cuts off movement of the reducing agent solid towards the selective reduction catalyst.

  • Patent number: 10920633
Abstract: A maintenance pipe (30) used during maintenance of an exhaust purification device equipped with: a set of an oxidation catalyst (22) and a filter (23) for purifying exhaust gas from an engine (10); an upstream connecting pipe (16A) and a downstream connecting pipe (16B) which are mounted in a demountable way and guide the exhaust gas from the engine (10) to the oxidation catalyst (22); and an exhaust pipe injection device (24) and injectors (12) for increasing a concentration of unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas. The maintenance pipe includes a flanged steel pipe (31) mounted to be replaceable with the downstream connecting pipe (16B), and a maintenance catalyst (32) that is housed in the flanged steel pipe (31), generates heat caused by oxidizing the unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas from the engine (10), and heats the exhaust to discharge the exhaust to an exhaust downstream side.

  • Publication number: 20130058838
Abstract: The present invention relates to an exhaust pipe, which prevents a reducing agent from penetrating a support member for an exhaust purification catalyst, and effectively prevents the exhaust purification catalyst from being damaged due to the expansion of the support member. An exhaust gas purification catalyst 30 for reducing and purifying nitrogenous compounds contained in exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine, using a reducing agent, is provided on the inside of the exhaust pipe 10 via support member 20. A baffle portion 15 for preventing the reducing agent from penetrating the exhaust gas purification catalyst 30 is provided on the portion of the internal surface of the exhaust pipe 10, which is upstream side of the exhaust gas purification catalyst 30.
