    Abstract: A railway freight car bogie includes a side frame, a bolster and a friction damper. The friction damper includes a wedge, a constant friction damping spring, a variable friction damping spring and an ejector rod. The variable friction damping spring in the middle and below the wedge is deviated at a distance in a direction away from a center of the bolster with respect to damping springs at two sides of the variable friction damping spring. An axis of each of the constant friction damping spring and the ejector rod is coincident with an axis of the variable friction damping spring in the middle and below the wedge. The bogie not only has an ideal relative friction coefficient in both an unloaded condition and a loaded condition, a large diamond resistant rigidity, a better vertical dynamics performance and a better transverse dynamics performance.

When the swing bolster in the disclosure is used, the friction block is mounted in the mounting cavity of the swing bolster body, and end parts of the friction block extend out of the first horizontal opening and second horizontal opening of the mounting cavity.

In various embodiments sites and a coordinator node work together to implement a process for summing data received at sites, where the sum takes into account both increments and decrements. In examples, a site decides whether to notify the coordinator node of a new data item according to a sampling probability that is related to an estimate of the current global sum of the data input across sites. In some examples a multi-mode algorithm is implemented which increases or decreases communication between the sites and the coordinator node according to behavior of the estimated global sum such that communications costs are optimized.

The cavity, the first hole and the second hole are communicated with each other; the conductive mechanism is placed internally in the glue-injection hole; the two ends of the conductive mechanism pass through the first hole and the second hole respectively and be in contact with two conducted apparatuses. The journal box rubber pad and the bogie of the present invention have the advantages that: the journal box rubber boxes not only can overcome the disadvantages that the upper and the lower wear liners are easy to be abraded and have poor contact with a bogie side frame and an adapter because of the requirements of high manufacturing accuracy but also can realize conductive function.
