    Abstract: A user terminal, a method for playing audio data via Bluetooth, and a digital signal processor are provided. The method includes: a digital signal processor receiving a basic packed data template from an application processor; a SBC module coding audio source data to obtain the audio data packet; the digital signal processor implementing a data packing to the audio data packet based on the basic packed data template, to obtain a packed audio data packet; the digital signal processor implementing dividing and packing to the packed audio data packet to obtain a data packet to be sent; and the digital signal processor sending the data packet requested to be sent to a Bluetooth controller via a PCM interface between the digital signal processor and the Bluetooth controller. Accordingly, the digital signal processor instead of the application processor is employed to achieve audio play, thus reducing power consumption.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques for managing collisions in discovery of device to device communication capable devices. Depending on whether collision probability is high or low, collision avoidance, or collision detection, may be performed. In collision avoidance, a user device broadcasting a discovery signal includes a cell identifier with the signal. In collision detection, a user device is allocated with an identifying sequence unique to a serving cell. A discovering user device's base station sends a report including a sequence associated with a discovered device to a core network element, which has information relating to sequences and cells of each user device. The network element examines information for neighboring cells of the discovering user device's serving cell and determines if the same identifying sequence associated with the discovered user device is associated with one or more user devices served by neighbor cells to the serving cell of the discovering user device.

The user equipment uses the first measurement setting to perform synchronization detection. In response to a small cell being detected, the user equipment provides a feedback indication on an indication channel. The user equipment then performs radio resource management measurement according to the second measurement setting.

    Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to contention based uplink transmission for coverage enhancement. A plurality of sequence patterns can be defined by a plurality of sequences and the order thereof. Each sequence pattern is uniquely associated with a UE. The UE may initiate the contention based uplink transmission with the associated sequence pattern. The BS may determine the number of UEs simultaneously transmitting on the shared resource by detecting the sequence patterns in the transmission. In this way, the BS can easily detect and handle collisions in the contention based transmission. The latency in uplink data transmission can be reduced with good system capacity.

    Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to cellular feedback transmission for the user equipments enabling D2D communications. In one embodiment, the cellular uplink feedback and the D2D signals may be multiplexed in the same D2D subframe. For example, the feedback may be transmitted using a symbol that is not used to carry the D2D signal. In one embodiment, the feedback may be transmitted in the symbol that is kept as gap in the D2D subframe. By multiplexing the cellular feedback with the D2D signals, the cellular feedback can be transmitted to the BS without breaking off the D2D transmission.

    Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to downlink transmission scheduling for D2D UE based on subframe pattern. In one embodiment, the D2D UE may provide the BS with information on a pattern of the D2D reception subframes that indicates the usage of at least some of the D2D reception subframes. From the pattern, the BS may determine one or more D2D reception subframes in which the UE wants to monitor the D2D reception and/or the cellular reception. Then the BS may avoid scheduling the downlink transmission in the subframes in which the UE monitors the D2D reception. In the other D2D reception subframes, the downlink transmission can be scheduled. In this way, the UE can properly switch between the D2D reception and cellular reception, without any conflicts or downlink resource waste.

    Abstract: A wireless communication system and a method for detecting downlink receiving power in the system are disclosed. N cells in the system respectively transmit data to at least one receiving terminal via N resource blocks using the same time-frequency resources; multiple channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) of a corresponding cell are set in each resource block, and orthogonality is maintained among the CSI-RSs of all the cells, wherein N is an integer greater than 1. Said method includes: an additional demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) used for indicating a receiving power is set in a puncture position in the resource block of the first cell which corresponds to a CSI-RS set in a resource block of another cell; and the receiving power of said first cell is detected according to said additional DM-RS. By using said method, the receiving power of a single cell in N cells can be detected, and the system overhead is not increased.
