Abstract: Disclosed are a virtual reality display method, a device, a system, and a storage medium. The method is applicable to a terminal in the virtual reality display system which includes a virtual reality device and a terminal. The method includes: rendering a first virtual reality image at a first rendering resolution to acquire a first rendered image; sending the first rendered image to the virtual reality device; rendering a second virtual reality image at a second rendering resolution to acquire a second rendered image; and sending the second rendered image to the virtual reality device, wherein the first rendering resolution is less than the second rendering resolution, and the first and the second virtual reality images are two adjacent frames of images.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for backlight control, a display device, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium. The display device may include a backlight module and a display unit. The backlight module includes backlight partitions. The method comprises: determining, with respect to a current frame image, a first backlight brightness value for each backlight partition; determining a scene type of the current frame image according to the first backlight brightness value and a ratio of black regions in the current frame image; obtaining an actual backlight brightness value for each of the plurality of the backlight partitions with respect to the current frame image, by processing the first backlight brightness value according to the scene type determined; and driving the backlight module with the actual backlight brightness value, so as to adjust the backlight brightness for each backlight partition in the backlight module.
Abstract: A method for processing an image in a virtual reality display device and a related virtual reality display device are provided. A gaze area and a non-gaze area are determined in a display area of a virtual reality display device. At a first time instant, a rendering process is performed in the gaze area and the non-gaze area to generate a first image. Based on attitude information of the virtual reality display device at a second time instant, a time warping process is performed on the first image to generate a second image. Based on the movement information and attribute information of the motion object in the gaze area, the second image is modified. With the modifying the second image, problems caused by the time warping process can be avoided, delays can be reduce, and smearing or ghosting can be avoided, thus a good display effect can be obtained.

The data driver is configured to continuously provide K display signals, all of which include a same set of image data, to a display panel. K is an integer greater than or equal to 2. The light valve controller is configured to provide a turn-off signal to a light valve whenever the data driver provides one of first T or odd-numbered display signals in the K display signals, and provide a turn-on signal to the light valve whenever the data driver provides one of last (K?T) or even-numbered display signals in the K display signals.
