Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a packaging box for a Venetian blind, and in particular, a simple and convenient structure in packaging of Venetian blinds.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] A conventional Venetian blind package is shown in FIG. 1. There is a plate body 1 having a plurality of scored lines forming into four adjacent lateral boards 20, 21, 22, 23, and an adhesion board 24. A protruded plate 25 is provided at one end of the first lateral board 20. A folding plate 30 is provided on the external end of the protruded plate 25. A fastening hole 200 is provided to the first lateral board 20, close to the protruded plate 25. A suspension hole 250, 300 is each provided to the protruded plate 25 and the folding plate 30. A bottom plate 31 is provided at the other end of the first lateral board 20, and a hole 310 is provided to the bottom plate 31. The two ends of the second side board 21 and the forth side board 24 are provided with scored line 10 to partition into a wing plate 32 and a bottom plate 33. The scored line 10 partitions one end of the third side board 22 to a cover plate 34 and a folding board 35 is partitioned from the external side of the cover plate 34. A through hole 340 is provided on the scored line 10 between the cover plate 34 and the folding plate 35. An insertion plate 350 is provided on the folding plate 35, and a fasting plate 36 is formed by the scored line 10 on one side of the third side board 22. An insertion plate 360 is provided on the fastening plate 36.

[0005] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the side boards 20, 21, 22, 23 and the adhesion board 24 are formed into a box body. Together with the bottom board 33 and the insertion plate 360, a box for the packaging of Venetian blind is obtained. The folding plate 30 passed through the hole 340 is protruded from one side of box body to provide displaying of the packed Venetian blind by suspension.

[0006] The disadvantages of the conventional package are that

[0007] (1) The boards have to be prefabricated, and scored lines have to be made. A plurality of procedures have to be employed in order to form the package.

[0008] (2) The package has a weak structure as their sides are fastened with adhesives.

[0009] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to mitigate the above drawbacks.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

[0023] For the purpose of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, alterations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, there is shown a package box for a Venetian blinds comprising a box body 40, two box covers 50, a plurality of buttoning pins 60 and a suspension plate 70.

[0025] The box body 40 is an elongated hollow body or container having four sides 41 to contain a Venetian blinds. The two ends of the box body 40 are two openings 42 for the mounting of the box cover 50 to each openings 42. A plurality of communication holes 43 are provided to the sides of the box body 40 closing to the edge of the openings 42.

[0026] The box cover 50 has the shape of the opening 42 so that the cover 50 can be mounted thereto. The box cover 50 is provided with four lateral side walls 51 to fit together with the inner edge of the box body 40. The end edge of the side wall 51 is provided with protruded edge 52 to urge the end portion of the opening 42. The top face of the box cover 50 is provided with a plurality of ribs 42 to strengthen the entire structure of the packaging box. On the side wall 51 of the box cover 50, a plurality of through holes 54 are provided and these through holes 54 are in alignment with the communication holes 43.

[0027] The buttoning pins 60 is a seat plate 61 having a protrusion 62 with a protruded rounded element 63 having a relatively large diameter. A notch 64 is provided to the rounded element 63 and the protrusion 62.

[0028] The suspension plate 70 is a flat plate body having a plurality of engaging holes 71 on the bottom face of the plate 70. These engaging holes 71 allows the rounded element 63 of the buttoning pin 60 to pass through and secure. A suspension hole 72 is mounted onto the suspension plate 70 so that the package can be suspended.

[0029] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, when the side wall 51 of the box cover 50 is mounted to the opening 42, the through holes 54 are in alignment with the communication holes 43. At this moment, the protrusion 63 of the buttoning pin 60 can pass through the through holes 54 and the communication holes 43 by the function of the notch 64. The protrusion 63 will restore to its original shape and secure to the inner wall of the box body 50. Then the protrusion 63 is passed through to secure to the engaging hole 71 of the suspension plate 70. Thus, the entire structure of package is suspended by means of the suspension hole 72.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 7, the suspension plate 70 can be of a “<” shaped structure. The ends of the “<” shaped structure are connected to the fixing or securing plate 73. A plurality of engaging holes 71 are provided on the fixing plate for the mounting of the buttoning pin 60, such that a ring structure is obtained from the suspension plate 60 and the box cover 50, allowing suspension of the package.

[0031] In accordance with the present invention, the advantages are as follows:

[0032] (1) The box can be applied directly to package Venetian blinds. It is a simple process by mounting the box covers 50 onto the openings 42 of the box body 40. After that the buttoning pins 60 are then mounted to the box body 40. In other words, it is convenient in the packaging procedures and the cost of production is thus reduced.

[0033] (2) The bigger and stronger buttoning pin 60 structure will not be dislocated from the box cover 50. The box cover 50 is made from a plastic material and the top face of the cover 50 is strengthened with enhancement ribs. These structure also support the box body 40 so that the box body 40 will not be easily deformed as a result of compression.

[0034] It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

[0035] While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
