DESCRIPTION

[0012] 1. A tube of which the inside diameter will accept coinage and its length will determine the amount of coinage held in it. The exterior of the tube will take on the appearance of a cigarette; in addition a cigarette wrapped in a money note that appears to be burning at one end namely the ash end of the cigarette.

[0013] 2. The other end of the tube will represent the appearance of the filter end of the cigarette; this end will be sealed or sealed in part with an end cap. This end cap will have a slot in it, which will accept coinage and the coinage value.

[0014] 3. The end of the tube representing the burning and ash end of the cigarette is fully capped and completely sealed to prevent the coinage from falling out.

[0015] 4. Halfway up the tube a sight hole or a series of incremented sight holes may appear with accompanying dollar value graphics, this will allow the holder to observe as to what stage the savings of coinage have met.

[0016] 5. Various Signage and Graphics will appear along the length and circumference of the tubes making reference to the benefits of having Stopped Smoking.

[0017] 6. The Tubes will be Packaged with accompanying backing inserts with reference to: The day, month and year the person stopped smoking, the examples of how one can enjoy the financial rewards with the help of the Anti Smoking Device, the money saved, and the time frames required to achieve those rewards.

BRIEF REFERENCE TO DRAWINGS

[0018] One preferred form of the Invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing of which;

[0019] FIG. 1 shows an Anti Smoking Savings Device and Method shown as separate items.

CONTRUCTION OF INVENTION

[0020] In the form shown there are five items that make up the Anti Smoking Device and Method. These are preferably made of paperboard and plastic although metal may be used.

[0021] The Tube 3 may preferably be made of Spiral winded composite engineered paperboard, Extruded Plastic, or Blow Moulded Plastic.

[0022] The Tube 3 can be of any length depending on the determined amount of coins it is to hold. However the length may conveniently be approximately 320 mm.

[0023] The diameter of the Tube 3 will be determined by the diameter of coinage and the countries origin,

[0024] The wall thickness of the Tube 3 will be determined by the form used for the manufacturing purposes and will have the necessary strength to cater for the weight of coinage.

[0025] Halfway up the Tube 3 a Hole 4 will be made to the side of the Tube 3. This Hole 4 will be of an adequate size as to indicate exactly what stage the coinage has reached and the value.

[0026] At one end of the Tube 3 an extruded Plastic Cap 2 will have a Slot 1, this will permit entry for the insertion of the coinage.

[0027] The other end of the Tube 3 will have an extruded Plastic Cap 5, this will be blank to stop the coinage falling out.

[0028] To retain the items in the assembled state Plastic Cap 2 is adhered to one end of Tube 3 and Plastic Cap 5 is adhered to the other end of Tube 3.

[0029] Both Plastic Cap 2 and Plastic Cap 5 are extruded in such a way that when they are inserted into the inside diameter of the both ends of Tube 3 they seat extensively and correctly allowing for good adhesion purposes.

[0030] Now in its assembled state and complete form the Tube 3 is wrapped completely with an adhesive label, graphically depicting to be the combination of a cigarette and cigarette wrapped in a money note with a filter end and a lighted end. A slot exists at the filter end to accept coinage. The lighted end is sealed off.

HOW THE INVENTION OPERATES

[0031] As an Anti Smoking Device and Method to act as a strategy to help people stop smoking and save money.

[0032] Performing the function of a ciggie bank.

[0033] In operation coinage is deposited through the slot provide at the filter end of the cigarette tube (Anti Smoking Device and Method).

[0034] In operation the coinage once deposited will fall down into the cigarette tube, lay flat, and accumulate until such time the coinage arrives at a sight hole halfway up the side of the cigarette tube. This will indicate the value of the coins accumulated and saved up to that point. This pattern continues until the Anti Stop Smoking savings Device and Method is full.

[0035] Wordage and signage appears on the side of the cigarette tube with a suggested Stop Smoking Support Agency and the Agency's telephone number.

[0036] Wordage and signage prompting the user to stop smoking and save also appear on the side of the Device.

[0037] The Anti Smoking Device and Method will be accompanied with Marketing and Promotional Package encouraging the Financial benefits and rewards achieved by giving up smoking.
