Machine for removing smoke and harmful gases from a burning structure
A apparatus for removing smoke from a burning structure. with electrical blow (fan assembly) triggered by the smoke detector signal, rigid ducting, flexible ducting, and Input gratings/grills. Upon detection of a signal from the smoke alarm circuitry in the building, the fan pulls smoke from the ceilings of the building and exhausts it to the outside air via the ducting.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThis apparatus provides a system to evacuate the smoke from the tops of rooms in the building to increase the chances of survivability of occupants and evacuees. The apparatus is automatically turned on by the smoke detector circuits. By drawing the smoke and fire gasses from the tops of the rooms, the occupants have a higher level of breathable air and higher probability of escape.
The inclusion of smoke detectors in buildings provided a means of alerting people of the danger of fire but did not reduce their risk from smoke inhalation or reduced visibility during emergency egress. This invention is machine for removing smoke from a burning structure. It automatically evacuates smoke and harmful gases from rooms within a structure.
