Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a cosmetic box assembly having an individual box which is removably engaged with the cosmetic box.

(2) Description of the Prior Art

A conventional cosmetic box is used for storage of cosmetic items and easy carriage. However, most of the existed cosmetic boxes are made compact and can carry limited cosmetic items. Therefore, many females have to prepare multiple boxes for different types of cosmetic items and accessories. If the bag is too small, the user might put all of the needed cosmetic items and accessories randomly in the bag and this makes the user have to take a while to pick a certain cosmetic items and accessory from the bag.

Although the use can choose a large cosmetic box to have all of the cosmetic items and accessories received therein, when the user needs to have a make up, the large cosmetic box becomes a burden.

The present invention intends to provide a cosmetic box assembly which includes an individual box for receiving needed cosmetic items and the box can be removed from the cosmetic box assembly conveniently.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a cosmetic box assembly that comprises a main part including a first box and a first cover which is pivotably connected to a side of the first box. A support member is located in the first box and includes a recessed area in which a sub-part is received. A locking member is connected to the support member and first cover can be locked to the locking member. The sub-part includes a second box and a second cover which is pivotably connected to a side of the second box. The second box and the second cover are removably received in the recessed area when the second cover is in opened position. Two locking pieces are located on the second box and the second cover respectively. The sub-part can be removed from the support member and used as an individual cosmetic box.

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic box assembly which includes a sub-part and the sub-part is composed of a box and a cover for receiving cosmetic items and accessories. The sub-part is used as an individual cosmetic box.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an exploded view to show the cosmetic box assembly of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a side cross sectional view of the cosmetic box assembly of the present invention;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view to show the sub-part of the present invention, wherein the sub-part is in opened status, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show the sub-part of the present invention, wherein the sub-part is in closed status.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the cosmetic box assembly of the present invention comprises a main part 1 and a sub-part 2, wherein the main part 1 includes a first box 11 and a first cover 12 which is pivotably connected to a side of the first box 11. A support member 13 is located in the first box 11 and includes a recessed area 131 so as to receive the sub-part 2 therein. A locking member 132 is connected to a side of the support member 3 so that the first cover 12 can be locked to the locking member 132. A mirror 121 is connected to an inside of the first cover 12. The support member 13 includes a T-shaped member 133 extending from a mediate portion of an inside of the recessed area 131.

The sub-part 2 includes a second box 21 and a second cover 22 which is pivotably connected to a side of the second box 21. The second box 21 and the second cover 22 each have storage recesses 211/221 so that cosmetic items or accessories can be received in the storage recesses 211, 221. The second box 21 and the second cover 22 each have a protrusion 25 which is engaged with the T-shaped member 133 when the sub-part 2 is received in the recessed area 131. It is noted that when the sub-part 2 is received in the recessed area 131 of the support member 3, the second box 21 and the second cover 22 are in opened positions as shown in FIG. 1. The second box 21 and the second cover 22 each include a flange 26 extending from a periphery thereof and the two respective flanges 26 are engaged with a lip on insides of the recessed area 131. Two locking pieces 23, 24 are located on the second box 21 and the second cover 22 respectively so that the second cover 22 can cover the second box 21 by locking the two locking pieces 23, 24 such that the sub-part 2 can be used as an individual box. A recess 135 is defined in one of four sides of the recessed area 131 and the locking piece 23 on the second cover 22 is engaged with the recess 135 so as to be properly positioned the sub-part 2 in the recessed area 131. Besides, the support member 13 includes a storage chamber 134 defined therein for storage of more items.

The cosmetic box assembly is a compact box in which cosmetic items and accessories are organized and stored in the storage recesses 211, 221 of the second box 21 and the storage chamber 134 of the support member 13. The sub-part 2 can also be separated from the support member 13 and used as a cosmetic box which provides necessary storage recesses 211, 221 and the sub-part is small and conveniently carried. The sub-part 2 is easily removed from or assembled to the support member 13 and meets needs of most of the female users.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
