PAINTING DEVICE WITH A MANUAL SUCTION CYLINDER

A painting device with a manual suction cylinder is provided with a connecting cavity or a connecting cylinder at each of its guiding pipe, brush heads and handle, with the connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity, the guiding pipe, the handle and the brush head are allowed to be assembled and disassembled quickly and easily, and a single handle of the present invention can be used to easily connect different types of brush heads without having the conventional problem that the conventional brush heads must have its own handle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a painting device with a manual suction cylinder, and more particularly to improvements on the handle, guiding pipe and brush head of a painting device with a manual suction cylinder.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional painting device with a manual suction cylinder 10 comprises a pipe 11 and a plurality brushes 12. As shown in FIG. 2, the manual suction cylinder 10 comprises a suction head 13 and a container 14. The suction head 13 includes an operation rod 131, a piston 132, a spring 133, a check valve 134 and a suction tube 135. The suction tube 135 is disposed in the container 14 which is provided for storage of paint. Pressing of the operation rod 131 causes reciprocation of the piston 132, and thus the paint is sucked by the suction tube 135 to the suction head 13 and discharged from a nozzle 136. The check valve 134 prevents the backflow of the paint sucked by the piston 132. The nozzle 136 is connected to one end of the pipe 11, and the other end of the pipe 11 is connected to the brushes 12 which can be in any arbitrary forms, such as the roller brush 121, flat brush 122, narrow brush 123 and wide brush 124, as shown in FIG. 1.

Referring then to FIG. 3, inside the brushes 12 there is a paint passage 125 through which the paint is sucked from the end of the handle 126 and discharged from a head 127 of the brushes 12.

It is to be noted that the connection of the brushes 12 to the pipe 11 is such that the pipe 11 is directly inserted onto the end of the brushes 12. In real application, the pipe 11 is very likely to become loose and disengage from the brushes after several times of assembly and disassembly. Moreover, the brushes 12 are relatively expensive and difficult to produce since each brush 12 has its own handle.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide improvements on the handle, guiding pipe and brush head of a painting device with a manual suction cylinder, wherein a single handle of the present invention can be used to easily connect different types of brush heads without having the conventional problem that the conventional brush heads must have its own handle.

To achieve the above object, a painting device with a manual suction cylinder in accordance with the present invention comprises a guiding pipe, a handle, and at least one brush head, the manual suction cylinder including a suction head and a container. The suction cylinder is provided with a suction tube and a check valve, the suction tube is disposed in the container, the container is provided for storage of paint, pressing of the suction head causes the paint to be sucked from the container and discharged from a nozzle which is located at one end of the suction head. The guiding pipe includes a first end and a second end, and the first end is connected to the nozzle of the suction head, the handle includes a feeding end and a discharge end which are connected together by a passage, the brush head includes a connecting end connected to an interior of the brush head by a passage, and the brush head is connected to the discharge end of the handle via a connecting end, so that the paint is sucked from the manual suction cylinder to the brush head via the guiding pipe and the handle. The painting device is characterized in that:

a hollow connecting cylinder formed with two opposite protrusions on its outer surface; a connecting cavity, inside the connecting cavity are formed two opposite engaging grooves, and at one side of the engaging grooves is formed a positioning groove; when the connecting cylinder is inserted in the connecting cavity, the protrusions are firstly engaged in the engaging grooves and then rotate together with the connecting cylinder within the connecting cavity by a certain distance and finally slide into a locked positioned in the positioning groove, rotating the connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity in opposite directions can make the protrusions slide out of the positioning grooves, so that the connecting cylinder is allowed to be disengaged from the connecting cavity; the hollow connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity are formed at the connecting end of the brush head, the second end of the guiding pipe and the discharge end of the handle; with the connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity, the guiding pipe, the handle and the brush head are allowed to be assembled and disassembled.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

Referring to FIGS. 4-9, a painting device with a manual suction cylinder in accordance with the present invention is shown and comprises: a manual suction cylinder 20, a guiding pipe 30, a handle 40, and a brush head 50.

The manual suction cylinder 20 comprises a suction head 21 and a container 22. Like the conventional structure, the suction head 21 of the present invention is also provided with a check valve and a suction tube (not shown). The container 22 is provided for storage of paint, and the pressing of the suction head 21 causes the paint to be sucked from the container 22 and discharged from a nozzle 211 which is located at one end of the suction head 21.

The guiding pipe 30 includes a first end 31 and a second end 32, and the first end 31 connected to the nozzle 211 of the suction head 21.

The handle 40 includes a feeding end 51 and a discharge end 42 which are connected by a passage 43.

The brush head 50 includes a connecting end 51 which is connected to the interior of the brush head 50 by a passage 52, and the brush head 50 is connected to the discharge end 42 of the handle 40 via the connecting end 51, so that the paint is sucked from the manual suction cylinder 20 to the brush head 50 via the guiding pipe 30 and the handle 40, as shown in FIG. 9.

The characteristics of the present invention are described as follows:

Firstly, the connecting end 51 of the brush head 50 and the feeding end 41 of the handle 40 are each specially provided with a connecting cylinder 60 the outer surface which are formed with two opposite protrusions 61, and the connecting cylinder 60 is hollow inside.

Secondly, the second end 32 of the guiding pipe 30 and the discharge end 42 of the handle 40 are each formed with a connecting cavity 70, inside the connecting cavity 70 are formed two opposite engaging grooves 71, and at one side of the engaging grooves 71 is formed a positioning groove 72. If the connecting cylinder 60 is inserted in the connecting cavity 70, the protrusions 61 are firstly engaged in the engaging grooves 71 (as shown in FIG. 6), and then rotate together with the connecting cylinder 60 within the connecting cavity 70 by a certain distance and finally slide into the positioning groove 72 and locked therein (as shown in FIG. 7). At this moment, rotating the connecting cylinder 60 and the connecting cavity 70 in opposite directions can make the protrusions 61 slide out of the positioning grooves 72 (FIG. 6 shows that the protrusions 61 slides back into the positioning grooves 72), so that the connecting cylinder 60 is allowed to be disengaged from the connecting cavity 70, in other words, the connecting cylinder 60 can be selectively engaged into and disengaged from the connecting cavity 70.

For a better understanding of the operation of the present invention, reference should be made to the following description.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 8, the assembly of the present invention is carried out by connecting the first end 31 of the guiding pipe 30 to the nozzle 211 of the suction head 21, and then connecting the connecting cylinder 60 formed at the feeding end 41 of the handle 40 to the connecting cavity 70 formed at the second end 32 of the guiding pipe 30, and finally connecting the connecting cylinder 60 formed at the connecting end 51 of the brush head 50 to the connecting cavity 70 at the discharge end 42 of the handle 40. By doing so, the assembly of the present invention is finished, and the painting device is ready for painting.

Referring then to FIG. 9, after the assembly is finished, the paint can be discharged from the nozzle 211, then flows to the handle 40 via the guiding pipe 30, and finally flows to the passage 52 of the brush head 50 via the passage 43 of the handle 40, and thus painting can be carried out.

It is to be noted that it needs to use different brushes during painting, the handle 40 of the present invention is specially designed to have a connecting cavity 70, while the roller brush 53, flat brush 54, narrow brush 55 and wide brush 56 are all provided with a connecting cylinder 60, so that the handle 40 of the present invention can be easily connected to different types of brushes.

On top of that, the design of the structures of the connecting cavity 70 and the connecting cylinder 60 can change according to actual requirements. As shown in FIG. 11, for example, a second end 32A of the guiding pipe 30A and a discharge end 42A of a handle 40A are each provided with a connecting cylinder 60, while a feeding end 41A of the handle 40A and a connecting end 51A of the brush heads 50A are each provided with a connecting cavity 70.

With the abovementioned designs, a single handle of the present invention can be used to connect different types of brush heads without having the conventional problem that the conventional brush heads must have its own handle.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A painting device with a manual suction cylinder comprising a guiding pipe, a handle, and at least one brush head, the manual suction cylinder including a suction head and a container, the container being provided for storage of paint, pressing of the suction head causing the paint to be sucked from the container and discharged from a nozzle which is located at one end of the suction head, the guiding pipe including a first end and a second end, and the first end being connected to the nozzle of the suction head, the handle including a feeding end and a discharge end which are connected together by a passage, the brush head including a connecting end connected to an interior of the brush head by a passage, and the brush head being connected to the discharge end of the handle via a connecting end, so that the paint is sucked from the manual suction cylinder to the brush head via the guiding pipe and the handle; the painting device characterized in that:

a hollow connecting cylinder formed with two opposite protrusions on its outer surface; a connecting cavity, inside the connecting cavity are formed two opposite engaging grooves, and at one side of the engaging grooves is formed a positioning groove; when the connecting cylinder is inserted in the connecting cavity, the protrusions are firstly engaged in the engaging grooves and then rotate together with the connecting cylinder within the connecting cavity by a certain distance and finally slide into a locked positioned in the positioning groove, rotating the connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity in opposite directions can make the protrusions slide out of the positioning grooves, so that the connecting cylinder is allowed to be disengaged from the connecting cavity; the hollow connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity are formed at the connecting end of the brush head, the second end of the guiding pipe and the discharge end of the handle; with the connecting cylinder and the connecting cavity, the guiding pipe, the handle and the brush head are allowed to be assembled and disassembled.
