SHOWER ACCESSORIES FACILITY
A shower accessories facility (100), including a first tray (10a), having one or more openings (11), for placing in each a neck of a liquid soap container, upside down, and hanging means, for hanging the shower accessories facility (100) on a shower wall.
The invention relates generally to the field of bathroom aids.
BACKGROUNDLiquid soap containers (bottles) such as of shampoo are a basic commodity in every home. One of the problems with these containers is how to empty the contents of these containers completely.
There are users that turn the containers in order to drain their content into their opening. But others do not empty their containers completely. There are several reasons for this:
One reason is that there is much preoccupation in emptying the entire contents of the container. Other reason is that it is not possible to place the containers upside down due to the geometric shape of their lid which prevents them from standing upside down.
As such, there is a long felt need to provide a universal facility for placing liquid soap containers in a bath, ready to be used.
SUMMARYThe term “liquid soap container” refers herein to any container that of shower liquid, cream, jell, etc., whether it contains soap, shampoo, or another substance.
In one aspect of the invention a shower accessories facility (100) is provided, including a first tray (10a), having one or more openings (11), for placing in each a neck of a liquid soap container, upside down, and hanging means, for hanging the shower accessories facility (100) on a shower wall.
The facility may further include a second tray (10b), located under the first tray (10a), wherein the second tray having draining holes, for draining water therethrough.
The facility further may further include at least one hook, for hanging thereon shower facilities.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the hanging means is a rack (12).
According to another embodiment of the invention, the hanging means is a bore (13), for passing therethrough a screw to be threaded in a wall.
The facility may further include one or more teeth (16), to be in contact with a neck (24) of a liquid soap container (20), for opening a lid (21) of the neck upon pulling the liquid soap container.
According to one embodiment of the invention, each of the one or more teeth is rotatably connected to the facility, and a spring (18) for pushing each of the one or more teeth (16) towards the liquid soap container (20), so that upon pulling the liquid soap container (20) upwards, a lid (21) of the container opens.
According to one embodiment of the invention, in the opening (11) is placed a replaceable ring (26), for adjusting the opening to fit to a specific liquid soap container.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the opening (11) is universal, for adjusting thereof to any liquid soap container.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the universality is obtained by flexible teeth (16).
The facility may further include one or more hanging hooks (14), for hanging thereon shower accessories such as sponges, towels, and so on.
The reference numbers have been used to point out elements in the embodiments described and illustrated herein, in order to facilitate the understanding of the invention. They are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting. Also, the foregoing embodiments of the invention have been described and illustrated in conjunction with systems and methods thereof, which are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting.
Embodiments, features, and aspects of the invention are described herein in conjunction with the following drawings in which:
It should be understood that the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale.
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONThe invention will be understood from the following detailed description of embodiments which are meant to be descriptive and not limiting. For the sake of brevity, some well-known features, methods, systems, procedures, components, circuits, and so on, are not described in detail.
The shower accessories facility, which is marked herein by reference numeral 100, includes hanging means such as rack 12 and bores 13, for corresponding screws, and at least one tray.
In the embodiment of
The lower tray, 10b, includes draining holes.
The shower accessories facility 100 may further include one or more hanging hooks 14, for hanging thereon bath aids such as a brush.
As illustrated, the liquid soap containers are placed upside down, such that their opening is down, and therefore their liquid soap is accumulated in the lower side of the containers. As a result of this orientation of the liquid soap containers, by squeezing a container its entire content may be extracted.
The opening 11 in the upper tray is such that the “shoulders” of a container is stopped when being inserted therein.
As illustrated, a liquid soap container 20 is placed in the upper tray 10a. The zoomed view focuses on a tooth 16, which upon pulling container 20 up of the shower accessories facility 100, it contacts the lid 21 of the container 20, and opens it so that the user does not have to open the lid while being in a shower.
The tooth assembly 15 may include a base 17 and a tooth 16 that turns inside by a spring (not seen in this figure, but detailed in
Despite of the fact that the illustration shows a single tooth, a plurality of teeth may be installed, such that the lid 21 of container 20 is surrounded by teeth, thereby at least one tooth touches the lid.

In step 4 (illustrated in
As illustrated, the container 20 is turned upside down, and is “neck” is inserted into opening 11 of the upper tray 10a of the shower accessories facility. The “shoulders” of the container 20 are blocked by opening 11. This structure provides a “universal” structure, i.e., allows almost any container to fit into the shower accessories facility.
In these figures the hole 11 is elliptical, and so does the container.
As illustrated, the tooth assembly includes a base 17, to which is rotatably connected a tooth 16. A spring 18 keeps the tooth 16 turned towards the “head” of the liquid soap container (not seen in this figure).
As mentioned, the assembly may be replaced by a tooth having some flexibility.
Reference numeral 21 denotes a lid of the container; Reference numeral 24 denotes a “neck” of the container; and
Reference numeral 25 denotes a “shoulder” of the container.
In the tray is installed a replaceable ring 26 which its center is disposed hole 11. As such, a user can replace the ring with another of ring having a different opening 11 (size and form), e.g., rectangular, elliptic, etc. In this example, the opening 11 is rectangular, correspondingly to the rectangular for of the neck 24 of the liquid soap container 20. In this figure, the tray 10a and the ring are presented as sectioned. Tray 10a is not presented in
The ring 26 can be attached and detached from the tray 10a by applying a slight force, i.e., the mechanism is actually a snap connector. Alternatively, a threading can be applied.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the ring 26 is universal, that is, it can be adjusted to fit any neck 24 of a liquid soap container.
The universality can be obtained by a variety of means, such as a plurality of flexible teeth.
In the figures and/or description herein, the following reference numerals (Reference Signs List) have been mentioned:
