Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of hairdressing and styling, and more particularly relates to a hair curler.

BACKGROUND ART

Hair curlers are widely used in daily life. Most hair curlers in the prior art only have hair curling effects with one wave size. In order to achieve various hair curling effects with different wave sizes, some hair curlers are provided with lifting mechanisms to drive heating elements to be close to or away from housings thereof, so as to change heights of the heating elements, such that hair curling effect with different wave sizes are achieved.

The lifting mechanisms of the existing hair curlers mostly use gear racks or other stepped structures to realize the lifting movement of the heating elements. However, the above lifting mechanisms feature a complex and unbalanced structure, raise rigorous requirements for coordination between gears and racks and are relatively costly. Step coordination can only control a limited number of height gears, face poor balance, strong driving force and bad hand feel. Moreover, diameter changes of the lifting mechanisms requires corresponding increase in thickness, such that a larger volume and weight of the entire product is required, resulting in increased costs and a poorer user experience. Therefore, the range of variable diameters is usually small due to limited space, making it difficult to meet the requirements of users.

In summary, how to effectively solve the problem that hair curlers require a larger volume to accommodate significant diameter changes is a problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure are described below clearly and comprehensively in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. It is obvious that the embodiments described are merely a part of, not all of, embodiments of the present disclosure. All other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments of the present disclosure without making creative efforts fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

The hair curler provided by the present disclosure has a heating element with an adjustable height, features a simple structure and low cost, and can achieve large size changes in a small space. Other structures of the hair curler can adopt settings of a conventional hair curler, and the following embodiments mainly describe a height adjustment structure of the heating element.

With reference to FIGS. 1-6. FIG. 1 is a structural schematic diagram of a hair curler in a specific embodiment of the present disclosure; FIG. 2 is a partial schematic diagram of another state of a hair curler; FIG. 3 is an exploded view of part of the structure of FIG. 1; FIG. 4 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of part of the structure of FIG. 1; FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of another state of FIG. 4; and FIG. 6 is a horizontal cross-sectional view of part of the structure of FIG. 1.

In one embodiment, the hair curler provided by the present disclosure includes a housing 1, a first heating element 2 and a driving assembly 3, where the housing 1 provides an installation space for components of the hair curler and can protect internal components of the hair curler. A shape of the housing 1 can be set as needed, and is not particularly limited herein. The first heating element 2 is arranged on the housing 1 in a sliding manner in a first direction, and movement of the first heating element 2, that is, adjustment of a height of the first heating element 2, can change a diameter of a hair curl. The first heating element 2 is provided with a cavity 21, and a sliding groove 22 extending in a second direction is formed inside the cavity 21, the first direction is perpendicular to the housing 1, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. The driving assembly 3 is arranged inside the cavity 21 and includes two first connecting rods 31 hinged to each other, the two first connecting rods 31 have the same length corresponding to the same side of a hinge shaft 32, one end of each of the two first connecting rods is slidably arranged inside the sliding groove 22, and the other end thereof is connected to the housing, thereby driving the first heating element 2 to move up and down in the first direction. It can be understood that the same side of the hinge shaft 32 refers to the side that the two first connecting rods 31 located on the side of the hinge shaft 32 close to a surface of the first heating element 2 in the first direction or the side away from the surface of the first heating element 2, and the two first connecting rods 31 have the same length corresponding to the same side of the hinge shaft 32, which can ensure that amounts of deformation of the two first connecting rods 31 in the same direction on the same side are the same. Specifically, one end of at least one first connecting rod 31 of the two first connecting rods 31 is slidably arranged inside the sliding groove 22, and one end of at least the other first connecting rod 31 is slidably arranged inside the housing 1, such that when the two first connecting rods 31 rotate around the hinge shaft 32, the first heating element 2 is driven to move up and down in the first direction, that is, one side of the two first connecting rods 31 corresponding to the hinge shaft 32 is fitted with the first heating element 2, and the other side thereof is fitted with the housing 1; and the first heating element 2 can be driven to move up and down in the first direction relative to the housing 1 while the two first connecting rods 31 is rotated around the hinge shaft 32.

When the hair curler provided by the present disclosure is used and the height of the first heating element 2 needs to be adjusted, the driving assembly 3 acts, the two first connecting rods 31 rotate around the hinge shaft 32, one end of the first connecting rods 31 located at one side of the hinge shaft 32 slides along the sliding groove 22, and the other side of the hinge shaft slides in the housing 1, such that the first heating element 2 are accordingly driven to move up and down to satisfy the requirements of a user for changing diameters of hair curls. In addition, compared with a lifting structure of a conventional heating element, the larger the diameter changes, the greater space is required to accommodate the lifting structure. Therefore, an increase in the diameter will result in an increase in product size, thereby increasing the costs and weight of the product. In the hair curler provided by the present disclosure, the two hinged first connecting rods 31 drive the first heating element 2 to move up and down, which takes up a small space, and a relatively small size can meet a relatively large diameter variation range. Further, in the present disclosure, acting force exerted by the driving assembly 3 on the first heating element 2 in the second direction is balanced, thereby effectively avoiding a tilting of the first heating element 2, and movement obstruction or structural deformation caused by the tilting. To sum up, the hair curler provided by the present disclosure features a simple structure and smooth movement, and the requirements of an accommodating space of the driving assembly 3 requires a small accommodating space by using the principle of lever. Therefore, a relatively small size can meet a relatively large diameter variation range to meet the needs of styling and the user.

In one embodiment, one end of the at least one first connecting rod 31 is a limited end A, the other end thereof is a non-limited end, and the limited end A can only rotate around a connection point. Specifically, the limited end A is rotationally connected to the sliding groove 22 and remains stationary with the sliding groove 22 in the first and second directions; alternatively, the limited end A is rotationally connected to the housing 1 and remains stationary with the housing 1 in the first and second directions. The two first connecting rods 31 have four end points, and any one of them is limited, that is, any one of them is rotationally connected to the sliding groove 22 or to the housing 1 as the limited end A, the corresponding first connecting rod 31 can only rotate relative to the corresponding sliding groove 22 or the housing 1 with the corresponding rotating shaft as an axis, degrees of freedom in other directions are limited, and the non-limited end can move relative to the corresponding sliding groove 22 or the housing 1 in the second direction. In order to facilitate the sliding of the non-limited end in the sliding groove 22, a protrusion can be arranged on the non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31 corresponding to the sliding groove 22, and the protrusion is inserted into the sliding groove 22 to slides along the sliding groove 22. The non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31 corresponding to the housing can be specifically provided with a projection cooperating with the housing 1 or slide along the housing 1 directly through the end. With the above arrangement, stable and reliable driving of the first heating element 2 to move up and down is achieved. With regard to the arrangement of the limited end A and the non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31, the following three cases can be specifically included:

    • in a first case, one end of one of the two first connecting rods 31 that cooperates with the housing 1 is the limited end A and is rotationally connected to the housing 1, the other end thereof is the non-limited end capable of sliding along the sliding groove 22, and both ends of the other first connecting rod 31 are the non-limited ends capable of sliding along the housing 1 and the sliding groove 22, respectively, such that when either of the non-limited ends is driven, the two first connecting rods 31 rotate about the hinge shaft 32 and drive the first heating element 2 to move up and down. The non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31 slides in the sliding groove 22, specifically, the non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31 can be provided with a sliding shaft, and the sliding shaft is inserted into the sliding groove 22 and slides in the sliding groove 22. Specifically, the sliding groove 22 can be specifically formed by a side wall of the cavity 21 being concave in a third direction, and the third direction is perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction.

In a second case, one end of one of the two first connecting rods 31 that cooperates with the sliding groove 22 is the limited end A and is rotationally connected to the sliding groove 22, the other end thereof is the non-limited end capable of sliding along the housing 1, and both ends of the other first connecting rod 31 are the non-limited ends capable of sliding along the housing 1 and the sliding groove 22, respectively, such that when either of the non-limited ends is driven, the two first connecting rods 31 rotate about the hinge shaft 32 and drive the first heating element 2 to move up and down.

In a third case, one end of one of the two first connecting rods 31 that cooperates with the sliding groove 22 is the limited end A and is rotationally connected to the sliding groove 22, and the other end thereof is the non-limited end capable of sliding along the housing 1; one end of the other first connecting rod 31 that cooperates with the housing 1 is the limited end A and is rotationally connected to the housing 1, and the other end thereof is the non-limited end capable of sliding along the sliding groove 22, such that when either of the non-limited ends is driven, the two first connecting rods 31 rotate about the hinge shaft 32 and drive the first heating element 2 to move up and down.

In one embodiment, one end of the at least one first connecting rod 31 is a limited end A, the other end thereof is a non-limited end, and the limited end A can move close to the hinge shaft 32 in the second direction while only rotating around the connection point. Specifically, the limited end A is rotationally connected to the sliding groove 22 and remains stationary with the sliding groove 22 in the first direction, and can move close to the hinge shaft 32 in the second direction; alternatively, the limited end A is rotationally connected to the housing 1 and remains stationary with the housing 1 in the first direction, and can move close to the hinge shaft 32 in the second direction. This embodiment differs from the embodiment described above in that the limited end A cannot only rotate relative to the corresponding sliding groove 22 or housing 1, but also rotate and move close to the hinge shaft 32 in the second direction, and the degrees of freedom in other directions are limited. The arrangement of the non-limited ends can be the same as that in the embodiments described above and will not be further described herein. With the above arrangement, stable and reliable driving of the first heating element 2 to move up and down can be also achieved.

In one embodiment, the hinge shaft 32 is limited to movement in the first direction only. This embodiment differs from the embodiment described above in that both ends of the two first connecting rods 31 can serve as the non-limited ends to slide in the second direction relative to the corresponding housing 1 or the sliding groove 22. The limiting of a movement direction of the driving assembly 3 is achieved by limiting a movement direction of the hinge shaft 32, that is, the movement direction of the hinge shaft 32 can be limited by a structure such as a limiting groove on the housing 1, such that the hinge shaft can be moved up and down in the first direction, but cannot be moved in the second direction, that is, a degree of freedom in the second direction is limited. With the above arrangement, stable and reliable driving of the first heating element 2 to move up and down is achieved.

In one embodiment, the hair curler further includes a chute 4, the chute 4 is connected to the driving assembly 3 and formed on the housing 1 to provide a track of movement in the second direction. One or both of the two first connecting rods 31 can be selectively arranged inside the chute 4 to slide along the chute 4. It can be surely understood that the chute 4 can be integrally formed with the housing 1. With the arrangement of the chute 4, it is possible to guide and limit sliding movements of the first connecting rod 31, making its movements smoother and more reliable. In addition, the action of the sliding groove 22 and the chute 4 makes acting force exerted by the two first connecting rods 31 in the second direction balanced, thereby effectively avoiding a tilting in the second direction, and movement obstruction or structural deformation caused by the tilting.

In one embodiment, the hair curler further includes a braking member 5, where the braking member 5 is connected to the driving assembly 3 for driving the driving assembly 3 to move. It can be understood that the braking member 5 is configured to only drive the first connecting rod 31 to move, and the specific structure thereof is not limited. A braking member 5 is arranged inside the housing 1, and the user operate the braking member 5 to drive the movement of the first connecting rod 31, such that a height of the first heating element 2 is adjusted. It can be understood that the braking member 5 can be connected to the non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31 to drive the non-limited end to move in the second direction, such that the first heating element 2 is driven to move up and down. The braking member 5 can also be connected to the limited end A of the first connecting rod 31 as required, and the limited end A is driven to rotate, such that the two first connecting rods 31 move and the first heating element 2 is driven to move up and down.

In one embodiment, the hair curler further includes a second connecting rod 6, where one end of the second connecting rod 6 is connected to the braking member 5, and the other end thereof is connected to the driving assembly 3, that is, the braking member 5 drives the first connecting rod 31 through the second connecting rod 6, thereby driving the first heating element 2 to move up and down. The transmission of the second connecting rod 6 facilitates the arrangement of the braking member 5 on the housing 1, such that the limitation on space is reduced.

In one embodiment, the braking member 5 is slidably connected to the housing 1, one end of the second connecting rod 6 is rotationally connected to the braking member 5, and the other end thereof is rotationally connected to a free end of the first connecting rod 31, that is, the braking member 5 can be a push rod, one end of the second connecting rod 6 is rotationally connected to the push rod, and the other end thereof is rotationally connected to the free end, that is, the non-limited end of the first connecting rod 31. When the user drives the braking member 5 to slide along the housing 1, the braking member 5 exerts force on one end of the second connecting rod 6 connected to the braking member, and the two first connecting rods 31 of the driving assembly 3 are driven by the second connecting rod 6 to rotate around the hinge shaft 32 with a limited point as a support, thereby driving the first heating element 2 to move up and down. Specifically, the limited point can be either the limited end A of the first connecting rod 31 or the hinge shaft 32 that is restricted from being displaced in the second direction.

In one embodiment, when the first heating element 2 is in a state of a limit position of moving up or down, the second connecting rod 6 form a first preset included angle or a second preset included angle with the second direction, respectively, that is, when the first heating element 2 is in the state of the limit position of moving up, the second connecting rod 6 forms the first preset included angle with the second direction; and when the first heating element 2 is in the state of the limit position of moving down, the second connecting rod 6 forms the second preset included angle with the second direction, that is, the second connecting rod 6 is unparallel to the second direction. The braking member 5 is connected to one end of the second connecting rod 6. With the above arrangement, an included angle can always exist between the braking member 5 and the second connecting rod 6, that is, the braking member and the second connecting rod are arranged in an unparallel manner, such that it is convenient to push the second connecting rod 6 to move, it is relatively labor-saving when the user operates, and the user's experience is improved.

In one embodiment, the hair curler further includes second heating elements 7 respectively arranged on two sides of the first heating element 2, and each of the second heating elements 7 is fixedly connected to the housing 1. The first heating element 2 and the second heating elements 7 cooperate with one another to form heating areas with different heights, thereby improving the heating efficiency and hair curling effect. The driving assembly 3 can drive the first heating element 2 to move up and down, such that relative heights of the second heating elements 7 are accordingly adjusted to better meet the users' needs for curling hair with different sizes.
