Fluid Cosmetic Dispensing Device
The fluid cosmetic dispensing device is intended to provide users with a clean and minimum wastage dispenser, that is sleek, efficient, and easy to use. More specifically, the device provides users with a lip gloss dispensing device that can utilize lip gloss from inside the lip gloss container to the maximum without wastage. To accomplish this, the device includes a dispensing system, and a unique design for the container and the applicator, that enables easy access to the applicator tip, easy and comfortable application, minimum wastage usage, and protective covering of the product. The dispensing system enables the lip gloss to flow to the applicator tip following a pushing or rotating action on the dispenser by the user. Further, a flip cap attached to the top of the applicator provides a sleek design, as well as enables easy access and protection to the applicator tip.
The present invention relates generally to an apparatus for an applicator. More specifically, the present invention is an apparatus for a lip gloss dispensing and applicator device.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONMany people utilize lip gloss every day. Oftentimes, lip gloss dispensers come with a wand and a bottle, wherein lip gloss from the bottle is dipped into and pulled out by the wand and applied over a user. However, this can be wasteful because much of the product that settles towards the very bottom and sides of the tubular bottle remains inaccessible and hence remains untouched by the wand. Thus, a liquid cosmetic dispensing device that can dispense the entire quantity of product within the container, as well as enable easy, comfortable, and quick application of the product in the container, is a rare find in the current market.
An objective of the present invention is to introduce an efficient cosmetic dispensing device. More specifically, it is an aim of the present invention to provide users with a lip gloss dispensing device that can utilize contents or lip gloss from inside the lip gloss container to the maximum without wastage. To accomplish this, the present invention comprises a unique design for the container and the applicator, that enables easy access, easy and comfortable application, minimum wastage of product, compact container design, and a protective covering of the product.

In the preferred embodiment, the dispensing system 3 is integrated along a length of the body 1, such that the liquid cosmetic may be dispensed from within the body 1 to the applicator tip 4 with the help of the dispensing system 3. Continuing with the preferred embodiment, the dispensing system 3 comprises a storage cavity 7, a dispenser 8, a fluid delivery tube 9, and an actuator 10. The storage cavity 7 is mounted within the body 1, such that the liquid cosmetic is stored or contained within the storage cavity 7. Preferably, the liquid cosmetic or the fluid within the storage cavity 7 is lip gloss. In other words, lip gloss is housed within the storage cavity 7 that is positioned within the body 1. The dispenser 8 is a device that can push the contents of the storage cavity 7 towards the applicator tip 4. To accomplish this, the dispenser 8 is in fluid communication with the storage cavity 7. More specifically, the dispenser 8 comprises a flat end 8a and a connecting end 8b, wherein the flat end 8a is perimetrically mounted within the storage cavity 7. In other words, the dispenser 8 has a flat end 8a that is touching the inner walls of the storage cavity 7. Furthermore, the storage cavity 7 is in fluid communication with the applicator tip 4 through the fluid delivery tube 9, so that a small amount of lip gloss may be dispensed onto the applicator tip 4. In other words, the fluid delivery tube 9 is a small tube that is connected between the storage cavity 7 and the applicator tip 4.
To further accomplish the intended functionality of the present invention, the connecting end 8b is mechanically connected to the actuator 10, such that moving the actuator 10 translates a mechanical reaction on the dispenser 8 through the connecting end 8b. The actuator 10 is a human interface device (HID) that can actuate forward motion of the dispenser 8 along the storage cavity 7, so as to dispense a predefined amount of the lip gloss onto the applicator tip 4. As seen in
A more detailed description of the present invention follows. As seen in
As can be seen in
Continuing with the preferred embodiment, the dispenser 8 linearly traverses through the storage cavity 7. As previously described, the linear motion of the dispenser 8 along the storage cavity 7 pushes the fluid 11 within the storage cavity 7 towards the applicator tip 4 through the fluid delivery tube 9. To accomplish this, the actuator 10 is rotatably coupled to the dispenser 8. In other words, as the user rotates the actuator 10 through a certain degree of rotation in the clockwise direction, a fixed amount of lip gloss is pushed to the applicator tip 4. To that end, in one embodiment, the actuator 10 is a rotatable twisty cap, wherein rotating the actuator 10 rotates the dispenser 8 and moves it along a screw axil. Alternately in a second embodiment, the actuator 10 is a spring-loaded push cap, wherein pushing the actuator 10 pushes a fixed amount of lip gloss from the storage cavity 7 towards the applicator tip 4. However, the actuator 10 and the dispensing system 3 may comprise any other components, technology, size, shape, etc., as long as the intents of the present invention are fulfilled.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
