Abstract: Provided is an in-situ precleaning method for use in conjunction with epitaxial processes that utilizes temperatures at or below those typically utilized during the subsequent epitaxial deposition under pressure and ambient conditions suitable for inducing decomposition of semiconductor oxides, such as native oxides, from exposed semiconductor surfaces. The reduced temperature and the resulting quality of the cleaned semiconductor surfaces will tend to reduce the likelihood of temperature related issues such as unwanted diffusion, autodoping, slip, and other crystalline stress problems while simultaneously reducing the overall process time. The combination of pressure, ambient gas composition and temperature maintained within the reaction chamber are sufficient to decompose semiconductor oxides present on the substrate surface.

The plasma producing means 3 has one or more each of a pulse electrode 4 and a ground electrode 5 that are oppositely disposed in the case body 2 and has a pulse power source 6 capable of feeding a pulse current to the pulse electrode 4 by switching frequency and/or voltage for different values at predetermined time intervals. The substances to be treated contained in the exhaust gas can selectively be treated by switching frequency and/or voltage value for different values at predetermined time intervals so that plasma of a kind adequate for the substances to be treated contained in an exhaust gas is produced between the pulse electrode 4 and the ground electrode 5.

Abstract: An organic compound having an affinity for a resin of a molded resin article and sublimation properties is allowed to penetrate/disperse into the surface of the molded resin article, thereby modifying and/or coloring a resin surface layer. The molded resin article and the organic compound having the affinity for the resin and the sublimation properties are put into a tightly closable container, and the pressure and the temperature in the container are adjusted to place them in a saturated sublimation pressure state of the organic compound, whereby a vapor of the organic compound is uniformly deposited on the surface of the molded resin article and it further penetrates/disperses into the resin surface layer, and in consequence, the resin surface layer can be modified and/or colored. In addition, the modification of the resin surface layer permits imparting a function thereto.

Abstract: The invention refers to a milking device and a method of handling a milking device. The milking device includes a milk-transporting member (1) having at least one teatcup (2) and arranged to transport milk from a teat of an animal to a milk-collecting member (4) during a milking state. A low pressure is connected to the milk-transporting member (1) for sucking the milk from the teat to the milk collecting member. A gas conduit (11) permits the introduction of a gas into the milk-transporting member. The gas conduit has a first end (12), which is a gas inlet member (15). The gas conduit has a second end connectable to a relatively low pressure for permitting a flow of a cleaning fluid from the milk-transporting member through the gas conduit during a cleaning state.
