Abstract: A heat dissipation device comprises a substrate, a fin assembly located above the substrate and at least one heat pipe connecting the substrate with the fin assembly together. The fin assembly comprises a plurality of fins stacked one above another along a bottom to top direction and space from each other with a gap defined between two neighboring fins. Each of the fins defines a plurality of ventilating holes therein. The ventilating holes of the fins are aligned with each other and form a plurality of vertical air channels in the fin assembly along the bottom to the top direction for ambient air in the gaps flowing therethrough upwardly to escape the fin assembly.

The box defines an accommodating space and a vent communicating with the accommodating space. The air valve body is extended out from the box and adjacent to the vent. The valve core is mounted to the valve body to airproof the vent, and comprises a first end inserted into the accommodating space through the vent and a second end opposite to the first end. The elastic element is arranged between the cap and the valve core. The valve core will open the vent to deform the elastic member and allow heated air in the accommodating space to leak out of the accommodating space through the vent, in response to an air pressure in the box is greater a reference air pressure.

Abstract: In a vehicle in which a front end of a hood is formed so as to extend forward from an upper portion of radiator in side view, and to be partly vertically aligned and overlapped with cooling fins of the radiator, in a first area of the radiator where the hood and the cooling fins are vertically aligned and overlapped with each other, the cooling fins are covered with a fan shroud from behind, and in a second area of the radiator where an air-intake port allows traveling wind to pass therethrough during movement of the vehicle, the cooling fins are not covered with the fan shroud, but are exposed to such traveling wind. Such arrangement of the cooling system achieves satisfactory cooling of the vehicle even in a situation in which an air-intake port, for introducing air into the radiator, must be made small.

Abstract: A cooling module for a vehicle includes a combo cooler associated with a vehicle. A heat rejecter includes tubes arranged in a planar configuration. A low temperature radiator is associated with the heat rejecter and includes low temperature radiator tubes arranged in a planar configuration. Manifolds are independently configured to supply a refrigerant to the heat rejecter and a coolant to the low temperature radiator. A high temperature radiator is disposed adjacent and parallel to the combo cooler, and downstream of the combo cooler relative to an air stream flowing through the combo cooler and the high temperature radiator. The high temperature radiator is associated with a high temperature cooling loop of the vehicle, and cools an other coolant flowing therethrough. An operating temperature of refrigerant in the heat rejecter and an operating temperature of coolant in the low temperature radiator are lower than an operating temperature of the other coolant in the high temperature radiator.

Abstract: A soft thermally-conductive wick is provided to be connected between the metallic components on a transducer and onto a thermal sink. Beryllia ceramic is provided to improve heat flux within the transducer while maintaining electrical insulation. The wick provides adequate heat flux and such that the mass and stiffness of the wick do not adversely affect the vibroacoustic properties of the transducer in the frequency band of interest. The mass of the wick attachment is considered in the transducer design with the location and direction of the wick attachment designed so as to not introduce rocking modes or other adverse affects in the frequency band of interest. The wick may be strung, coiled, folded or configured in many ways between the transducer and the thermal sink to ensure that no acoustic or vibrational energy is transmitted down the length of the wick.
