Abstract: A user object securing assembly for securing a user manipulative object such as user interface at a user-accessible area of a user-wearable garment. The assembly includes a flap having a first edge for joining to the user-accessible area of the garment to form a generally horizontal hinge line, and a second, opposite, edge which may be free. A user object securing device is connected to the flap between those edges, the flap being swingable about the hinge line between a closed position wherein the flap lies against the garment and an open position wherein the flap extends away from the garment with the securing device facing upward. A fastening device releasably fastens the flap in its closed position. The user manipulative object may include a user interface such as a cell phone or the like, as well as other such objects including a billfold, wallet, credit card holder, coin carrier and the like.

Abstract: An athletic garment including a panel designed to reduce frictional and pressure drag around an appendage of an athlete competing in a high-speed event, such as running and cycling. The panel is positioned to encircle the appendage, and is provided with regions having different surface texture roughnesses. The leading edge of the panel includes texture designed to enhance the laminar boundary layer, while the adjacent portion of the panel includes texture intended to trip the boundary layer to turbulent flow. The drag-reducing panel may be the cuff of a sock, a sleeve, wristband, a headband, or the like.

Abstract: A grommet locking device, which combines the advantages of both a grommet and a cord lock in a single unitary device. The grommet locking device allows a user to tighten a cord with one hand. The grommet locking device includes a front piece having a locking mechanism and a back piece that are attached together with a piece of fabric therebetween. A cord is moveable within the locking mechanism between a first locked position and second unlocked position in order to tighten or loosen a portion of the garment, such as a hood of a jacket.

Abstract: Collectible artistic renderings are integrated with an article of clothing or other clothing articles wherein the clothing article serves as a display for the collectible artistic renderings and the collectible artistic renderings serve to enhance and alter the look and design of the clothing article. The clothing articles themselves can include an image or pictorial representation serving as a backdrop. The collectible artistic renderings include a fastener for affixing such collectible artistic renderings to said clothing articles. The collectible artistic renderings can be collected, traded, and stored in a storage medium when not in use on a clothing article.

Abstract: Human clothing has inner and outer flexible layers that define a space sufficiently large to position a thermal transfer element in any of multiple, non-overlapping positions. The space and the thermal transfer element preferably have cooperating sides of a hook-and-loop attachment. All suitable items of clothing are contemplated, but especially a shirt, jacket or pants that appear to others as a substantially normal garment. Each space has one or more openings, in either the inner or outer layers, and preferably at the shoulders or sides of the torso, or at the pocket areas of pants. The spaces are preferably large, not only relative to the size of a corresponding thermal transfer element, but also to the size of the garment. Thermal transfer elements are preferably disposed in pouches having a thermal insulation on that side, and have only a very thin, thermally transmissive, fabric on the other side.

The outer layer is knit with a first yarn, the inner layer is knit with a second yarn and the intermediate layer is knit with a third yarn in looped fashion about at least some of the first and second yarns to provide an integrally knit structure having three layers knit stitched together in a single knitting process.

Abstract: A golf glove hand warmer compartment is a significant upgrade to the standard golf glove. By holding an air activated hand warmer in place, heat is transferred directly and continuously to the back of the hand. Thermally conductive fabric transfers heat from the back of the hand to the fingers. A simple hook and loop clasp not only facilitates the ease of insertion and removal of the hand warmer, but also secures the hand warmer in place during the rigors of a golf swing.

One embodiment of the caster alignment mechanism includes a fixed gap between the upper magnet and the lower magnet for an always engaged or “on” mode. The fixed gap can be adjusted to vary magnetic field strength depending on user specifications for ease of turning. Another embodiment of the caster alignment mechanism includes a switching mechanism to change modes between engaged or “on” mode and disengaged or “off” mode.
