The rigid surface compresses the fibers of the soft surface as the device and the recesses decompress the fibers. The repeated compression and decompression, preferably in combination with a cleaning compound, provide the mechanical action necessary for removal of foreign material.

Abstract: A wiper blade including a lever member, a rubber blade, and a movable cover member is disclosed. The lever member includes a main lever and a yoke lever. The main lever is coupled to a wiper arm. The yoke lever is coupled to the main lever. The yoke lever includes a plurality of grip portions. The rubber blade is gripped by the plurality of grip portions to wipe a wiping surface. The rubber blade includes a following end projecting outward from the one of the grip portions that is located at a longitudinally outer side of the lever member. The movable cover member covers at least part of the yoke lever. The movable cover member includes a holding portion and a basal portion. The holding portion holds the following end. The basal portion is pivotally coupled to the yoke lever so that the movable cover member pivots relative to the yoke lever when the following end bends and deforms in a direction orthogonal to the wiping surface.

Abstract: An interval between an inner face 31c1 of a back wall 31c in a rubber holder 31 and a blade rubber 32 is formed so as to become gradually expanded with respect to an interval between an inner face 31b1 of a front wall 31b and the blade rubber 32 as being directed toward a center portion from both longitudinal-directional end portions of the rubber holder 31. Also, an interval between an inner face of each back wall in a pair of covers coupled to the both longitudinal-directional end portions of the rubber holder 31 and the blade rubber is formed so as to become gradually expanded with respect to an interval between the inner face of the front wall and the blade rubber as being directed toward the center portion from both longitudinal-directional end portions of the cover. Accordingly, a flow of travel wind during a travel of a vehicle is facilitated between the rubber holder 31 and the blade rubber 32 or between the covers and the blade rubber 32.

A cord-equipped hose, wherein opposite ends of a flexible hose are respectively provided with tube holders each constructed from a pair of half tubes. The tube holders each sandwich an end of the flexible hose with the pair of half tubes joined together and each form, between the joined ends of the half tubes, a lead-out opening for an electric power source cord. Opposite ends of the electric power source cord in the flexible hose are respectively led out of the lead-out of the tube holders and held in position.

Abstract: Provided is a method of forming a thru-hole through a composite structure having a plurality of internal compartments. An insert ring is connected to the composite structure to create a protective layer around the periphery of a penetration formed within the composite structure. An adhesive is disposed between the composite structure and the insert ring to create a fluid-tight seal between the insert ring and the internal compartments. In this regard, the fluid-tight seal mitigates fluid flow between the internal compartments.

The first and second components are positioned in parallel orientation to each other wherein alignment. of the caster with the leg of the mobile device is achieved by the attractive characteristics of the first component with an upper magnet to the second component with a lower magnet. One embodiment of the caster alignment mechanism includes a fixed gap between the upper magnet and the lower magnet for an always engaged or “on” mode. The fixed gap can be adjusted to vary magnetic field strength depending on user specifications for ease of turning. Another embodiment of the caster alignment mechanism includes a switching mechanism to change modes between engaged or “on” mode and disengaged or “off” mode.

Abstract: A self-lock hinge is mounted between a cover and a base of an electronic device and has a receiving bracket, an outer resilient sleeve, an inner resilient sleeve and a pintle. The pintle is connected to the cover and the receiving body is connected to the base. The outer resilient sleeve is mounted in the receiving bracket.
