Abstract: The Purse Baby or Front Seat containment apparatus is used for containment of items such as: handbags, wireless tablets, files, books, other shopping bags, and the like. The apparatus which may be extended therefrom to rest on a surface of an automobile seat and the like. The cargo netting apparatus may be positioned at an upright angle relative to the supporting surface so as to maintain a level position. More specifically, the front panel assembly/front seat apparatus includes a nylon cargo netting portion, left back nylon strap portion connected to the back right nylon strap. A lock assembly is connected between the left back panel and the right back panel assembly for flexibility of the nylon cargo netting with respect to the back panel assembly. The top back panel portion of the back panel assembly includes a top back-panel connector portion.

In particular embodiments, the invention comprises a fastener-dispensing device comprising a fastener striker in operational communication with a striker driving means. Abstract: In a method of stapling layers of tissue within a body cavity, an engaging instrument is passed between a stapler cartridge and anvil and used to engage a region of tissue. The engaging instrument is retracted to move the engaged tissue into the stapling position, and driving staples from the cartridge through at least two layers of the engaged tissue. The method and associated system may be used to form plications in body tissue, such as stomach wall tissue. Staples simultaneously driven thorugh tissue may simultaneously capture a reinforcing elements positioned adjacent the cartridge and/or anvil prior to stapling.

Abstract: Methods of attaching cutting elements to earth-boring tools, comprising abutting a portion a cutting element against at least one surface of an earth-boring tool with a braze material disposed therebetween; and brazing the cutting element to the earth-boring tool by applying high-frequency vibrations to cause the braze material to become flowable. Methods of securing cutting elements to earth-boring tools may comprise at least partially coating a cutting element with a braze material. The cutting element may be at least partially disposed in a pocket formed in a body of an earth-boring tool with the braze material adjacent surfaces defining the pocket. The cutting element and the braze material may be ultrasonically torsionally oscillated to braze the cutting element within the pocket.

Abstract: A method is taught for creating a hollow sphere that is created by joining two cylinders together that have a semispherical hollow formed in the ends being joined together, wherein a metallic reinforcing disk is inserted at an interface between the two ends of the cylinders, wherein the two cylinders and reinforcing disk are joined using friction stir welding to create an inner sphere from the two hemispherical hollows that is bisected by the metallic reinforcing disk, and wherein the joined cylinders and reinforcing disk are machined to thereby create an outer spherical surface that is centered around the inner sphere.

Abstract: Described herein is an apparatus and method for providing an inerting gas during the application of soldering to a work piece. In one aspect, there is provided an enclosure for providing an inerting gas into an atmosphere above a solder reservoir during soldering of a work piece comprising: a tube in fluid communication with an inerting gas source wherein the tube comprises one or more openings for the flow of the inerting gas therethrough, a base wherein the tube resides in therein and comprises an interior volume, a neck comprising an opening and an interior volume in fluid communication with the interior volume of the base, and a cap proximal to the opening wherein the inerting gas source travels through the tube into the interior volume and into the atmosphere through the opening defined by the neck and cap.

Embodiments include continuous print devices having a plurality of temporary holding sections, each of which is bounded by a moveable bottom barrier. The temporary holding sections are typically aligned vertically with each other, thus allowing print media to fall from one temporary holding section to the next temporary holding section below. The temporary holding sections are adapted to contain print jobs including unique set documents for association and packaging with medication containers during fulfillment of prescription orders. Embodiments of the continuous print system enable associated printers to maintain at least one print job in the printer's memory during order fulfillment, thereby enabling the printer to operate continuously. Warm-up or cool-down cycles of the associated printer that can be induced by delays between successive print jobs are thus eliminated during normal operation of the continuous print system.

The image scanner is positioned adjacent to the transport path.

Abstract: An automated banking machine operates responsive to data read from data bearing records, such as user cards, to cause machine user authorization and financial transfers. Account data read from a user card is associated in a data store with instructions for displaying a customer interface uniquely associated with the particular bank where the user holds the account. The customer interface includes user-selectable financial transaction options. The arrangement enables the customer interface of the user's home bank, with which the user is familiar, to also be automatically displayed when the user operates automated banking machines of other banks.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recognition of encoded information on documents are disclosed. According to an aspect, a system includes a document reader configured to read encoded information from a document, and to output an electrical signal representative of the encoded information. The system also includes signal conditioning modules that are each configured to receive the electrical signal, and to condition the received electrical signal differently for outputting a plurality of conditioned electrical signals. Further, the system includes an information recognition module configured to analyze each of the conditioned electrical signals and to select one of the conditioned electrical signals for use in recognizing the encoded information.

Abstract: Targets associated with transactions to be processed at a workstation are read by capturing return light from the targets with an array of light sensors of a solid-state imager having a field of view that extends through a workstation window to the targets. A controller controls the imager to operate at a frame rate to acquire images of the targets over successive frames in either a batch mode or a free-running mode. A memory stores the acquired images. The controller processes all of the stored images, and processes at least one of the stored images over an extended time period greater than one of the frames.

Abstract: Fold mirrors permit the imagers to be closer to each other and permit an optical code reader, such as a tunnel scanner, to confine them to a smaller housing volume or capacity. A plurality of sets of fold mirrors can also be employed to convey at least a portion of at least two different perspectives or two different depths of field of a composite view volume to different regions of an image field of a common imager. The sets of fold mirrors may also include split mirrors that have mirror components that reflect images from different view volumes to different imagers or different regions of an image field of a single imager.

Abstract: An RFID tag assembly for attachment to an enclosure surface including a door, an RFID tag attached to one face of the door or wrapped around the door, and an attachment device for connecting the door to the enclosure surface to allow the door to move to a position that shows both sides of the door. The RFID tag can include a ground plane, the tag wrapped around the door such that the ground plane is on the back of the door and the RFID tag antenna is on the front of the door. A ground plane can be provided on the enclosure inner or outer surface in alignment with the RFID tag antenna, with the antenna directly or inductively coupled to the ground plane when the door is in a closed position.

Abstract: A mechanism for indicating ambient temperature of an enclosure from temperatures determined within the enclosure. The temperatures may be obtained from two or more sensors at each of two or more locations within the enclosure. The enclosure may include heat generating components such as electronics. The enclosure may also incorporate one or more dynamic components that emanate sudden amounts of heat. The present mechanism compensates for such heat sources with a compensating scheme.
