Abstract: A blank cartridge and mated blank chamber for simulated firearms incapable of discharging projectiles. The blank cartridge has a case with a cartridge base, a case wall, a cartridge shoulder forming a neck, and a nose enclosing the blank cartridge. The blank cartridge nose provides more reliable feeding from magazines of simulated firearms. The blank cartridge dimensions render it inoperable with ammunition chambers of actual projectile-discharging firearms. The blank chamber dimensions render it inoperable with ammunition cartridges. Upon discharge the blank cartridge and chamber release exhaust gases in a forward direction, creating realistic visual and auditory effects.

Abstract: A system for firing multiple projectiles in a parallel or diverging manner is provided. The system can comprise tail-end portions of projectiles that add structure to a cartridge, provide for efficient combustion, allow projectiles to transition from a straight configuration in the cartridge to a splayed configuration in a chamber, and ensure complete evacuation of the chamber. The system can include a tail-end portion of a particular projectile with openings that distribute energy from combustion of an ignition charge, facilitating firing of multiple projectiles. A tail-end portion of a projectile can include a ball joint upon which the body portion of the projectile moves causing an angle between the body portion and the tail-end portion. A space can exist in the body portion adjacent to the ball joint to allow off-center shifting of the body portion with respect to the ball joint.

Abstract: An apparatus that attaches to a small boat designed to stabilize a first end of the boat against the wind while a trolling motor stabilizes a second end is herein disclosed. The apparatus generally comprises a clamp that attaches it to the side of the hull and a moveable shaft that holds a large piece of plastic which is partially submerged under the water. The apparatus is positioned such that it is perpendicular to the direction in which the wind is blowing. As such, as wind pushes against the side of the boat, resistance will be offered by the device as the wind must push it against the water as well. It can be quickly raised and lowered as required by the needs of the boat occupants. These features provide in effect, an “anchor” which stabilizes the boat against the wind.
