Abstract: A packaging case adapted for packing an article therein includes a fastening shell and a plurality of buffering elements. Each wall of the fastening shell defines at least one insertion hole. The buffering elements are dismountably inserted into the insertion holes of the fastening shell with tops thereof projecting out of the insertion holes. The fastening shell and the buffering elements are designed separately, so the buffering elements fully afford an external force struck on the buffering elements for effectively preventing cracks being caused between each buffering element and the fastening shell. Accordingly, the fastening shell is designed with a thinner thickness to lower a material cost and a transportation cost. Furthermore, the buffering elements assembled to the fastening shell are changeable to make the buffering elements dismountably inserted into the insertion holes properly and simply. So a better buffering function of the packaging case is realized.

Abstract: The invention relates to the field of package, and more particularly to a buffer sheet facilitating chuck adsorption and taking and a glass transport package. The buffer sheet comprises a substrate, and surface grains protruding from the substrate; the buffer sheet comprises adsorption zones, and non-adsorption zones; the surface grains of the adsorption zones are of a close pore structure, and the surface grains of the non-adsorption zones are partially or fully of an open pore structure for avoiding generating negative pressure. The liquid crystal glass transport package of the invention employs a buffer sheet of an innovative structure. Because the surface of the adsorption zones of the buffer sheet is still of a closed surface grain structure, the chuck adsorption capacity is not affected. The surface grains of the non-adsorption zones are fully or partially opened. The open pore structure enables the outside air and the air between the buffer sheet and the glass plates to freely flow.

One or more yarns may comprise filaments comprising the second polymer. In one example, a braided tubular support is coated with a dope based on PVDF in NMP. Some or all of the yarns of the braid are made of bi-component core-sheath PET-PVDF filaments. With as few as 4% of the yarns in the braid made of the bicomponent filaments, peel strength and pull force of the membrane is improved relative to a braid made entirely of PET yarns. In experimental examples, unpeelable composite membranes were produced. The membrane may be used, for example, for water or wastewater filtration applications.

Abstract: High efficiency and high capacity glass-free filtration media include a blend of synthetic non-fibrillated staple fibers and fibrillated cellulosic staple fibers, wherein the fibrillated cellulosic fibers are present in the media in an amount to achieve an overall filtration efficiency at 4 microns of 95% or higher and a ratio of filtration capacity to media caliper of 0.5 mg/in2/mils and greater. The filtration media is made by forming a wet laid sheet from a fibrous slurry blend of the synthetic non-fibrillated staple fibers and fibrillated cellulosic staple fibers, followed by drying the sheet to obtain the filtration media. Optionally, the filtration media may be provided with a resin binder and may be grooved and/or pleated.

Abstract: Anaerobic treatment of water is performed under anaerobic conditions with a biofilm formed on a surface of a fluid non-biological carrier in a reaction vessel. Stable high-load treatment is performed by preventing the blockage of the reaction vessel caused by the flotation and adhesion of the non-biological carrier in the reaction vessel and effectively recovering the settleability of the carrier floating owing to adhering air bubbles by simple means. A reaction vessel is charged with a fluid non-biological carrier having a size in the range of 1.0 to 5.0 mm and a settling velocity in the range of 200 to 500 m/h. Part of the carrier that has floated and flowed out of the reaction vessel is fed downward through a pipe having a vertical height of 50 cm or more so as to remove air bubbles adhering to the carrier and is returned to the reaction vessel.

Abstract: In an anaerobic treatment method in which contaminated water is introduced into an acidification tank to decompose polymer components in the contaminated water into organic acids, and the effluent from the acidification tank is introduced into a methane production tank containing non-biological fluidized carriers so as to convert the acids into methane, the treatment is carried out stably and continuously by preventing the occurrence of floating of carriers in the methane production tank. The CODcr concentration of polymer components other than organic acids in the acidification tank effluent to be introduced into the methane production tank is controlled to be not more than 300 mg/L. This control prevents the occurrence of acid production reactions in the methane production tank and the consequent proliferation of microorganisms, and thereby suppresses sticking of carriers as well as the occurrence of floating and blockage by the carriers.

Abstract: A low concentration wastewater treatment system is provided that includes a high flux adsorbent material treatment system integrated with a low flux adsorbent material biological regeneration reactor. The high flux adsorbent material treatment system includes one or more unit operations for mixing low concentration wastewater with adsorbent material that is fresh, recycled, or a combination of both, and for decanting a liquid effluent having a reduced level of contaminants. The adsorbent material with adsorbed contaminants is regenerated in a low flux adsorbent material biological regeneration reactor in which a biological reaction occurs, such as biological oxidation, wherein organic contaminants in the wastewater are metabolized generally into carbon dioxide and water. Excess biomass is removed from the adsorbent material, and the thus-regenerated adsorbent material is recycled to the high flux adsorbent material treatment system.
