Abstract: A filter includes at least two different adsorptive media. First, chemisorptive media, which is porous and includes an acidic functional group, is used to remove molecular bases, including ammonia, organic amines, imides and aminoalchols, from the atmosphere used in semiconductor fabrication and other processes that require uncontaminated gaseous environments of high quality. Second, physisorptive media is able to adsorb condensable contaminants, particularly those having a boiling point greater than 150 degrees C. The physisorptive media can include untreated, activated carbon.

Abstract: Gas pressure regulator valve adapted to a household appliance for the supply of a flow of NG or LPG gas that comprises a valve body (11) with an inlet conduit (12), an outlet conduit (13) of the gas at a nominal pressure, a pressurised chamber (14) connecting both conduits through a regulation valve (39,40), a diaphragm (22) connected to the valve member (39), a closure cap (26) and means (26-29,19,23,35) for the adjusting of the nominal pressure for NG or LPG gas. The adjusting means include a prestressed adjusting screw (35) on the diaphragm (22), a guide means (28) of the rotation on the cap (26) and a stopper means of the rotation on the body (11). The pressure value is adjusted by the rotation of the cap between two positions.
Abstract: A gallium nitride-based HEMT device, comprising a channel layer formed of an InGaN alloy. Such device may comprise an AlGaN/InGaN heterostructure, e.g., in a structure including a GaN layer, an InGaN layer over the GaN layer, and a (doped or undoped) AlGaN layer over the InGaN layer. Alternatively, the HEMT device of the invention may be fabricated as a device which does not comprise any aluminum-containing layer, e.g., a GaN/InGaN HEMT device or an InGaN/InGaN HEMT device.
Abstract: A method is disclosed for analyzing a biological sample by antibody profiling for identifying forensic samples or for detecting the presence of an analyte. In an illustrative embodiment of the invention, the analyte is a drug, such as marijuana, cocaine (crystalline tropane alkaloid), methamphetamine, methyltestosterone, or mesterolone. The method involves attaching antigens to a surface of a solid support in a preselected pattern to form an array wherein the locations of the antigens are known; contacting the array with the biological sample such that a portion of antibodies in the sample reacts with and binds to antigens in the array, thereby forming immune complexes; washing away antibodies that do not form immune complexes; and detecting the immune complexes, thereby forming an antibody profile. Forensic samples are identified by comparing a sample from an unknown source with a sample from a known source.
