A system for improving communication over a network, comprises a detection module capable of detecting data indicating a problem with a communication between at least two participants communicating via communication devices over the network, a management module capable of analyzing the data to determine whether a participant is dissatisfied with the communication, wherein the management module includes a determining module capable of determining that the participant is dissatisfied, and identifying an event causing the dissatisfaction, and a resolution module capable of providing a solution for eliminating the problem.

Abstract: A method for voice activation of a software agent from a standby mode. In one embodiment, an audio recording (2) is buffered in an audio buffer (6) and at the same time, the audio recording is input to a secondary voice recognition process (7) which is economical in terms of energy and has an increased false positive rate. When a keyword is recognized, a primary voice recognition process (8) is activated from an inactive state, which converts the audio buffer to text and inputs it to a dialog system (9) which analyzes as to whether there is a relevant question made by the user. If this is the case, the user gets an acoustic reply (3), and if this is not the case, the dialog system and the primary voice recognition process immediately return to the inactive state and transfer the control to the secondary voice recognition process.

Abstract: A transmitter in an audio coding system generates an encoded audio signal that conveys a losslessly encoded representation of an audio signal at a first sample rate and losslessly encoded representations of related audio information at other sample rates. A companion receiver with limited computational resources can generate a high-quality output audio signal at a desired sample rate by losslessly decoding the encoded representation of the audio signal and possibly other portions of the encoded audio signal as needed to obtain an output signal at one of the other sample rates.

As a result, the wastefully using of the memory capacity of the memory mounted in the sound data processing apparatus is reduced.

The processor may receive display a queue that lists medication orders to be prepared by a healthcare professional, the medication orders indicating component medications that will be used to prepare the ordered medications. The processor may receive a selection of a first medication order listed in the queue, where the first medication order indicates a first component medication. The processor may determine a second medication order listed in the queue that indicates the first component medication. The processor may reorder the displayed queue such that the second medication order is listed adjacent to the first medication order. The processor may notify the healthcare professional of the second medication order, such as by displaying an indication of the second medication order separately from the queue.

A medication package is formed from a package back pane and blister housing, and filled in accordance to a prescription order. The package back pane has a medication housing color pattern that contrasts medication colorings of a prescribed medication, such that a number of empty medication blisters can be determined from a package image matrix generated by analyzing the medication housing color pattern, the medication colorings, and a plurality of reference marks on the package back pane from a captured image of the medication package. The package image matrix is compared to a previous package image matrix in order to determine if the prescribed medication has been administered properly. A unique prescription code of the medication package can program a processor with a scheduling profile, medication order information, and the package image matrix.
